A bit of a tough choice, this season.

Last season, it was Steven Gerrard by a very clear mile. During the opening parts of this present season, when we started our CL qualifying matches, Gerrard was ahead of everyone else. But then, as the season went on, there were more and more players who came to the fore with either sheer outstanding displays in some matches (Gerrard, Alonso), reliability every time (Carra, Reina and also Hyppia), crucial match winners (plenty here), most improved (Kewell) or most consistent (top guy is Finnan followed by Carra).

In the end, it's Carra's reliabity, consistency and leadership which swings it for me. I voted for Carra.

A pick between gerrard, alonso, kewell, finnan, carra. They seem to stand out as the best players this season for me, all for different reasons.

Kewell
Alonso
Garcia

I choose kewell because of the complete didfference to last year.

He should get at least most improved player

Stevie is streets ahead followed by Carra, as expected . Is there not one person out there who'll give a sympathy vote to "Lil Luis" ?

Gerrard best player by far then second Carragher followed close by a player who as improved alot is Reina watching over the season he is getting better we have the best young goal keeper in the prem without a doubt :bowdown
