It has to go to Carragher. He has been uninjured and very impressive all season. Gerrard and Alonso would both be stronger candidates if not for their injuries.

Riise? Sorry, but you seem to be forgetting someone.......

Steve Finnan.

Most consistent player behind Carra. ???

I would have to agree with that, Finnan has been impressive at RB this season.

Gerrard , Finnon and Riise have all impressed but for sheer commitment to the cause it has to be Carragher....

I say there will be more than one player. Carra , SG and SF are the players of the year for Liverpool this season.

I would go for Jamie Carragher, but we should not forget that Steve Finnan has been a consistent performer on the right wing. Steven Gerrard has also been great along with Luis Garcia, who is proving to be the one we knew at Barcelona.

Carra, no contest.

Stevie G does have his big moments when he has his outstanding games but all too oftern even he has been inconsistent. Carra, on the other hand, has been consistently good while the rest of the team alternate between good and anonymous.

Carra is the only winner for me.
Consistantly class really.
Alonso and gerrard have also been outstanding but both suffered injuries which hasnt helped there cause

The only players in contention in my opinion are Carragher and Riise.

Both players have played regulary and have been consistently good in their form.
