And Stmichael - mind my words. He is already class. F@ck man. There's no friggin doubt about that. The thig is matey, Sissoko will never be af fancy as Alonso or score goals for fun from midfield like Ballack. But he is maybe number ONE on the world in his trade. Breaking down the opponent, winning duels and second balls, stealing the ball from midfielders, tackling their azzes off the pitch. If Sissoko was playing for LFC against Benfica I guarantee that we had been able to put more pressure on them and control midfield better. We would have been through.
And so to the Sissoko haters - like Stu. Time to shut up isn't it?
When did i ever say i hate Sissoko?
Get a grip. If you think a lad who's got average (on a premiership basis) passing, no shooting ability, very average heading ability, poor crossing ability, average technical ability, average influence, average positional play, average off the ball movement, average dribbling ability and average vision is "Class" then that show's the lack of knowledge you have as a football fan.
He's excellent at what he does and is a good part of the team but to call him "class" is complete and utter stupidity.
Gerrard is class.
Alonso is class.
Fowler is class.
Sissoko hasn't even scored onegoal for us yet, how the
is that "class".
Come back when you know what you're talking about dipshit.
Football is about more than scoring goals.
Rob jones never scored for us but would u trash his name as well?
When Crouch wasnt scoring you said there is a lot more to football than scoring goals, then u say this?
methinks u is on the windup mate

The guy who was mistakenly taken off in the Semi-Final of Champions League a few years back when we lost to Bayern Leverkusen (I think).

The best in the world at what he does and Stu seems to go out of his way to point out the lad's weaknesses and claims he will never be a class player (incidentally the word class is entirely open to interpretation.)
The truth lies somewhere in the middle. Sissoko is not at the level Banana claims him to be. He runs hot and cold, gets booked too often and needs to be more consistent in his passing. However to say that Sissoko will never be a class player is rash because the boy is so young, shows bags of potential and we have missed him big time these past few weeks. Pundits and fans alike often use the word 'class' or 'world class' to describe Makalele despite the fact he probably posesses a lot of the (quote Stu) 'average abilities' of our Sissoko e.g. crossing ability, vision, shooting ability, engine etc

When you watch a game, any game, are you thinking about players in terms of their attributes as you have just described in your last post? I am only asking becuase, obviously its a well thought out system, but detailed. If it was me, I would have to watch each game twice, once for the enjoyment and again to rate the players in the detail which you have just gone into.
I can appreciate the thought you put in, but I'd much rather just watch and enjoy the game.
