How weird would that be! Owen in a United shirt and RVN in a Liverpool shirt

You'd get bl00dy good odds for that...mainly because it'll never happen. Way off the mark. Have you seen how many direct transfers have happened between us and the mancs. One or two, for a reason!

The England striker has been heavily linked with a return to Anfield, despite only arriving on Tyneside in the summer.
But the Sunday Sun claim that Liverpool officials have indicated they will not make a summer bid for Owen, currently sidelined with a broken foot.
Instead it is claimed that Owen will be offered a deal to keep him at the Toon for life - a bumper six-year contract which would take him to the age of 32.

Well if he signs a new contract i guess that mean hes staying (isnt that we were syaing a few years ago). Then again he may put it off till the end of the world cup to see what offers he gets. Surely he doenst want to spend the rest of his career at Newcastle ? This is one of he best strikers in the world.

Now if he at the end of the season demanded a move wouldnt that make him look pretty damn bad. I'm sure if an expensive foriegn player that people would use words such as Mercenary.
