There are strong rumours going round that there has been a bust up in the 'Financial Area' of the club, which came to light in the preparations for the AGM.
The dispute is predictably about funds and how to prioritse expenditure etc.
Certain factions are calling for spending on the New Stadium to maximise future revenues, other factions are calling for money to be spent on players again to look after revenues and other factions looking for new investment to do both.
Meanwhile 'Numpty Parry' is taking his eye off the ball with Rafa:

Real Madrid and Inter Milan have made clear their interest in luring Rafael Benitez away from Liverpool. The club's hierarchy may have to spend heavily in order to match the Spaniard's ambition and keep him at Anfield.

A source close to Benitez said he had been informed that the powers-that-be at both Real and Inter were keen on him. Real made a tentative move for Benitez about two months ago by letting it be known they were interested. When Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry learned of Real's interest, he took no action, according to a source close to Benitez, and this is thought to have upset the Spaniard.

I just wish Rafa would come out and say plan and simple "I'm staying at Liverpool and the specualtion is rubbish" because the only statements have said something along the line of "their has been no contact from other club"

One thing is for sure and thats their will be an interesting summer at Anfield cos it will be £30m on players or god forbid a new manager, I know which I think it will be :;):

Rafael Benitez insists he wants to stay at Anfield
Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has insisted he is happy at Anfield and concentrating purely on Wednesday's Champions League clash with Benfica.
The Spaniard, linked with Real Madrid and Inter Milan, dismissed reports he will leave at the end of the season if he does not get a budget of £30m.

Benitez said: "I don't have any problems with the board, the chief executive or the chairman.

"If we win this game it could make things easier financially."

He continued: "I don't like talking about other things. The most important thing is to be focused on the match.

"I am only concerned about winning and improving with Liverpool.

"Worrying about other things will only distract us from our objective."

Striker Robbie Fowler said the players hope Benitez will stay at Anfield.

He said: "I have worked with Rafa for just over a month and I have enjoyed working with him.

"I want that to continue for as long as I am here.

"I couldn't go into details over what has been happening but he is Liverpool's manager and that's what we want.

"He has achieved so much already, winning the European Cup in his first season and I hope he continues winning European Cups, leagues and FA Cups as Liverpool manager."

Liverpool trail 1-0 from the first leg in Portugal as they battle for a place in the last eight.

Im concerned, not alarmed, but he hasn't catagorically ruled out any move away from Anfield. he does keep saying that he is only concerned with the next game, the next game, thats all we hear. But he has only gone so far as to say that he is happy with the board and life in Liverpool. He still hasn't come out and said, "f..k no, I won't go." Until he does, anything can happen.
