YES, THEY WERE s##t MOSTLY WITH THE ODD GOOD PERFORMANCE BUT WHAT DO  YOU THINK. I ONLY PUT IN THE PLAYERS THAT WERE'NT COMPLETELY s##t.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

nice poll, keeping out Gerrard. I'll tell you what, it got me stumped, as no one on your list has played often enough for my liking to warrant a judgement. Thats why ive gonwe for Hamman, the unsung hero if you will. He just does the tidying up and he does help make Gerrard look better than the genius he already is. Riise may well have nicked it if he had played a few more games and im surprised that you didnt include Kewell. Ok, hed be the first to admit he hasnt played as well as he can but hes come in with some vital goals.. for me the its the Hamman :blues:

Hamann was quality yesterday - just quietly got on with his game but broke up countless Boro attacks. Very simple, very effective. I appreciate a lot of the comments which have been made on other threads about how he's too defensive but under our current system he plays a vital role.

I'd give Carra my vote. Since his return from the broken leg he's been outstanding.

My vote goes to Hamann ...reason: already explained above....

After Hamann ... Riise who I think has played excellent the last few games and has made it hard for houllier to bench him again.

If Baros played maybe 5 more games the way he was playing when he got place on the side, it would be him. Other than that I guess Carra or Hamann gets my vote, can't choose between the two.
Interviewer:       'Would it be fair to describe you as a volatile player?'
David Beckham: 'Well, I can play in the centre on the right and occasionally on the left side.' (Man U)

really reflects how poor this seaon has been when we are struggling to recognise a player who has a good season along with Stevie G.
I'll go with Carragher, because of his good performances since coming back from injury and his committment to the cause.

i'll go for carragher for reasons alreasdy explained, but i would also say because he has put alot of effort in to improve his attacking play, he's been one of the few players to show real improvement.

DUDEK - Dudek struggled for confidence to start with, but since he has been back in the team he has been steady.

CARRAGHER - Everyones favourite, but to me he just isn't that good.

HYYPIA - Got a lot of unfair critiscism last year and at the beggining of this season, his form did dip while playing with suspect partners, but it was exagerated. Has been excelent since losing the captains armband. He got my vote.

RIISE - Has been patchy for the past 18 months, but has improved since getting back in the side.

FINNAN - Has struggled with injuries and form all season. the jury is still out on him.

HAMANN - Has had 1 good game against Newcastle, apart from that hasn't been his imposing self.

OWEN - Looked on fire when the season started, but has struggled to regain form since coming back from injury.

we need da lads to improve their game

afta wat we have achieved i would have expected dis side to b up der with the eurpean giants
in fairness all da players listed have been below average
which is a real shame
