Did anyone see the results for the writers player of the season yesterday although i agree with henry being the best player all season but are stevie g never even got a look in the top three second was lampard and third was viera although the other two had good seasons but let's be fair if it wasn't for henry surley gerrard would and should have been player of the season he has been superb all season judging by the result it must have been london papers who voted, lampard has been the most improved player i think but he could'nt lace gerrard's boot's just watch gerrard shine in euro 2004.

Probably the fact that LFC have had such a dissapointing season reflects badly on gerard in there opinions!

I'm sure if we had been 2nd rather then 4th he would have figured in the top 3!

I have to say Lampard had the most improved season, but viera didnt do much for me this year, he had a quiet begininning and well, Gerrard was in aleague of his own. How many of us pay attention to the journos anymore anyways tho?
