I just managed to unlock Mcares on Pro evo 5, and after alot of thinking decided to put him into the right mid slot currently occupied by Luis Garcia. Then i noticed that Garica's stats were superior to Steve's it got me thinkin who was better i was not able to witness McMan at his best but was he really much better than Garcia i was just wondering if anyone who witnessed him play enough might be able to tell me who was the beyyer player.

mcmanaman had great dribbling ability. could dribble as quick with the ball than he could without.
dunno who the better player was though. hard choice seeing as macca was one of my favourite players.

Very true st Mick but I have to say, as much as I have been won over by our little sangria drinking pal, given the choice I'd rather have Macca in his prime in the current set-up.

Stevie Mac for me. Defenders used to sh*t themselves when he was running at them full pelt, ( especially ones who played for Celtic, remember that?) Saying that though he could nt shoot to save his life. Dont get me wrong i love little luis but with macca being a scouser too, he shaves it for me.

Macca in his day was a joy to watch, I'll never forget his goal against Celtic, it was legendary, but I think its unfair to compare these two different players.
