Robbie Fowler to sign for Liverpool

Breaking news Manchester City striker Robbie Fowler is set to sign for Liverpool today. Reports are coming in that the striker has been at Liverpool training ground for a medical before completing a shock return to his old club. The move is likely to be a loan deal until the end of the season.

Nevertheless I'm pretty pleased that at least Fowler got mentioned. Maybe I'm old-school, as I do recognise that Fowler can never hit 15 goals a season for us even if he comes back, but I would still love to have him back, if only to add some personality in the squad.

Perhaps we should start a petition on one of those sites? :laugh:
