Hello i am from spain and this is going to be my first   post after 1 week reading this section of forum ^^ i would like to say my thoughs about Luis Garcia.

In spain, and in LFC he played very similar tbh, he maybe lose too much  the  ball sometimes, but suddendly he score fantastic goals and works a lot for the team, he did very nice  seasons with Atletico de Madrid , Barça, and now he is doing the same in LFC, im sure he is one of the few players i could rate with 99/100 creative in the Total Club Manager 05 ^^

Salutes and sorry for my  gimped english :)

ps : Sabre such political comments :( Marcelino scored teh goal.

Like what Gerrard has said, garcia is an intelligent player.
Hes got very good off the ball running, notice how a little man like him managed to win headers in the box?
In addition, he can shoot with either feet.
He has his demerit points, but its up to rafa to use him to his full potential.

matrix wrote:we have to take our hat of to garcia just lately because i really think he has improved  and i know he will do silly things at times like silly flicks and things but the fact is he can play different roles for us so he is an important player for us at the moment  i have a lot more faith in garcia than i did lets say 3 months ago  i think the fact that we are looking for another right winger has alerted the trickster into some form  :;):

As one of Garcias critics I may just have to hold my hands up and agree with you Matrix

Of late he has been more of a team player

But thats not to say he dosnte still have me questioning his parenthood from the main stand at least half a dozen times a match  :D

Don't know how he's going to fit into the team once everything is in place. He's certainly not a natural winger, and he'll probably rarely start as a forward when new strikers come. He's probably going to end up being number 1 on the subs sheet - the benchwarmer.

many complaint:
1. crouch; not scoring
2. cisse; not scoring
3. morientes; not scoring
4. garcia; a trickster/ball waster
5. sami; too slow
6. sissoko; ball waster
7. kewell; i don't know. there are just too many complaints from y'all

in the last 9 premiership matches we scored more than 15 goals, conceded only one.

comparing to our last season's present performance we are now 14 points better and en route for 80 points.

just wait till end of the season shall we.. crouchy now scoring, morientes begins to score and so does cisse, kewell is gradually finding his form, sissoko is finally comes in term with the premiership style bla..bla...bla..bla..

just give the small guy a break and more time

Welcome mate. Castellon eh? Long time no see the Castalia guys in primera. It's about time. Hope so.

Pretty much the idea we have around here, but perhaps I'd add, that in Liverpool he has grown as a player, and still the best is yet to come.

Salutes and sorry for my  gimped english

Sounded good to me.

ps : Sabre such political comments  Marcelino scored teh goal.

Yes he did. I don't love less my co.u.ntry just because I make some autocriticism. I'm of the school of thought that only throught admitting your darkest mistakes you can face and solve them.

And I still think that in the past, many influences were going on in European football (scandalous refferees, robberies, pressures, games bought) and that certainly in the euro cup of that times there were a lot of pressures going on.

You might think that not talking about our mistakes, or admitting the shame of having a dictator (I hardly can call a dictator's deeds "politics" BTW) helps the image of your co.un.try. I disagree. I preffer giving a realistic view of my co :censored:ry to my mates here, rather than selling a perfect cou.ntry, they wouldn't buy that.

You might also think that all this are matters of the past. But then I tell you that 30 years are nothing in history, and we are no more than a young democracy.

Don't think that this makes me a bad Spaniard. I love my co.un.trry. With the goods, and the bads.

Again, Welcome, and greetings from San Sebastian

Since Judgy has up and undered this one back into the mixer, Wimbledon styke it seems only fair to point out that our luxury player pulled us out of the sh!te with a lovely goal yesterday. I don't do stats but he is on his way to getting somewhere near last seasons goal tally. 6 million? an absolute snip.

Thats why i refused to come on hear after the WBA game and tear the back out of the lad for his display when we all know hes capable of doing that in the next game, Youve got to take the good with the bad with Luis, simple as.

Its not the 1st and it wont be the last time a litle bit of garcia magic pulls us out the sh!t, although Alonsos pass was simply class as well.

Mick it was his 7th or 8th of the season that so hes on his way to not to bad a return again.....We must be close to nearly 30 goals between are midfielders which is an excellent return so far.

it was mostly bad at first, then a mixture, now its more good than bad, which is brilliant.

I wrote a post but then noted that it more or less repeated someone elses post. Re Garcia at WBA
I deleted it but it said I had to write something.
