Luis garcia - Trickster and ball waster, available .

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Hes one of those players who can do the unexpected and turn a game
But he will lose you a lot more with his stupid fkn amature tricks in good attacking positions or in dangerous areas around our own box.
A less naturaly gifted but more aware player would always give you better returns that Garcia.

Might just end the season as an expensive fringe player

I think it's his passing that is weak.

He needs to work on that.

His goals in important matches helped win the CL last season. He is frustrating and gives the ball away too often - if he works on his distribution he would be world class, this will come with age.

I like him, but he needs to improve.

he's an interesting player, Garcia is.  Just when you're about to lose your patience with him, he scores an amazing goal.  I've been a big critic of Garcia, but he's an important part of LFC because he give our team that extra flair we need.

we have to take our hat of to garcia just lately because i really think he has improved  and i know he will do silly things at times like silly flicks and things but the fact is he can play different roles for us so he is an important player for us at the moment  i have a lot more faith in garcia than i did lets say 3 months ago  i think the fact that we are looking for another right winger has alerted the trickster into some form  :;):

He's improved a lot, he also chases back and does win balls, something which Kewell does not do at all. He only started to do a bit of chasing back against Newcastle

its amazing. Luis is back on form and then most on here want to have a go at someone else. i wonder if that player will be kewell.

Fans are fickle and dont seem to give players any chance to shine. Is it cos we are playing so well and when we play at 2nd gear everyone wants a 5 star performance. Yesterday a fan at the side of me was complaining about not finishing them off and whats rafa doing bringing josemi on. Why crouch when it should be morientes. I'd had enough and told this :censored: that we have a game in two days, why sholud we burn ourselves out. Crouch has a yellow and if he gets another he's out of the derby. Finnan needs a rest as he has struggled with the travelling and its a squad game. This lad looked at me like i had three heads then another lad said i was spot on and told this :censored: to :censored: off.

Too many fans want harlem globetrotters performances week in week out.  It ain't gonna happen but i for one wont moan cos this team is going places and the style for me is more pleasing than chelski and any of houlliers or evans teams . Let the good times come back.

garcia is a match winner on his day, sometimes he can be sublime and sometimes awful, but he knows where the goal is and can do the unexpected, that is why he is worth a place in the team

Gotta love Garcias reaction yesterday. He misses an open goal from two yards out, blazing it over the bar and goes into one on Crouchino for not passing it earlier. It workled though because the miss never really got mentioned again. The shot of Crouch's fizzogg straight after thae bruiser that is Luis Garcia had ripped into him was an absolute classic.  :D

Garcia reminds me quite often how Paul Walsh used to play.I think hes quality and although he often loses possession in and around the box hes a very dangerous player.

Dawson99, Crouch, Morrientes and even Garcia do their tracking back and actually harass the opposition. Kewell just do half hearted runs and rarely gets into the thick of the action against opponents when tracking back. There is a lot of difference. The others get engaged in the action, he does not. perhaps he is scared of aggravating his groin "injury" again.

I noticed that the match commentators are quick to say that Garcia loses possession too easily but never mention how Kewell also fail more often then he is sucessful. No offense mate, but unles and :censored:il he shows a more concerted effort, he is still an underperforming pr!ck who earns far too much no matter how greate he can be for us. He has not done the business for us, not by long way.
