If this is an "official thread" WTF? I can say that I officially don't give a feck whether we win it or not. I do know it has come at the absolute worst time possible, just when we are starting to look like a serious football team for the first time in ages. Total and absolute waste of time for me.

Do you really think that it´s not important to be the World Champion ????

You all talk like Europe has the best teams, and they cannot be compared with the others.  But what would be Europe without the brazilian players?? We have the best players and the best clubs too! If São Paulo FC, Palmeiras, Cruzeiro, Santos, Fluminense, Internacional, Grêmio were in Champions League , we probably would win it. I will not talk about corinthians because they are like chelsea... have a lot of money that comes from russian hands....

I think u don´t know who is Mineiro, Josué, Lugano, Cicinho, Amoroso, Grafite .... so you´ll see them on december 18th and after that : "ooOOOOOOOOOH , new brazilian talent.... let´s buy them!"

See you ......... and in 2006 - Brasil 6 STARS

I think this tournament is a joke!
I mean our boys have enough games to play already.Ok yes since we are there i hope we win it obviously. But i just feel it can only upset our recent league form and increase fatigue on our players who have already played a lot more games than all our other rivals in the EPL!
Liverpool have played so many games already we are in danger of peeking in form too early and going flat in the second half of the season!
I hope Raffa has the sense to at most let our big players play a bit part roll in these 2 games!
Please God no injuries over in Japan, that would be criminal!
The only 1 plus side is more money for the club and hopefully more to spend in January!
