World club championship - Who's going to japan

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

What are LFC's chances in the World Club Championship is Japan?

I notice LFC will come up against Sydney F.C. This in itself shouldn't be huge mountain to climb but you might be interested to hear that Dwight York now plays for Sydney. I'm sure the boys will welcome him with open arms. Just becareful, Dwight's a bit fragile now he's a certified pensioner.   :p

Send the reserve side, and Hughie.
Let Rafa stay here with the 1st team squad and iron out some more creases!

It would be nice though if we won it. We could legitimately say that were the best team in the world. LOL. I hope Rafa does take it seriously. I honestly think with the exception of Sao Paolo we are probabaly the best team in hat competition.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

It's as much a world championship as the 'World Series' is in American baseball. A world champonship in name only. I wouldn't be loosing too much sleep over it.   :suspect:

Sydney still have to qualify to meet Liverpool. It is not a done deal.

This team has the biggest of respect here in Spain. It's well known and feared.

No, wait, I'm kidding :D .  To be honest I don't like this world championship thingy (here known as "mundialito", here at least is not given that much importance. I don't have anything against Japan, they are a respectable country, but I don't know why things like international cup must be done there always. High humidity, lots of heat, and a crowd that says a lot of "aaaaah" and "oooooh" when a player makes a decent control. Isn't there other places in the world, in which football must be promoted?
