Apparently we've qualified for the Club World Championship to be held in Japan in December :

Looks like it's just 2 knockout matches instead of a mini-tournament like the one in 2000 which is a relief. Liverpool FC - World Champions sounds pretty good to me! Plus if UEFA don't let us back in the CL we can tell them where they can stick their world championship! :buttrock

My point exactly Mike. Why allow our club to compete in a mid season competition as a PR tool for UEFA if their not going to let us in their competition as WINNERS

It beggars belief that UEFA could possibly expect us to play right in the middle of our domestic season (where we will no doubt be trying to finish in the top 4 To qualify for their competition which they won't let us in as holders !!!!!! :angry:

XSD - check the match schedule on the website. We'd be playing on Thursday 15th and Sunday 18th in Yokohama.

We play the SUPERCUP in July

Or NOT as the case my be cos if UEFA don't allow us in their precious CL they can shove these PR games up their :censored:
