Harry kewell vs. u r gay - Thoughts about the game

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Lionheart » Sat Nov 19, 2005 9:14 am

Kid A...you are hilarious!!! My family has just come running into the study to see what I was laughing at. I literally have tears streaming down my face...and my gut aches. Seriously I haven't laughed so much in ages.

But I also want to apologise for being such a bully and making you respond to my comments. I thought I was a bit more reserved than that. I'll take myself out into the back yard and teach myself a lesson!!

I think we had better stop corresponding thought...my lungs can't stand that much exercise. Now you run out and organise a a street game in your obviously far superior footballing nation, so that you will be ready for 2010.

Me?? I'm just going to go and organise my schedule for Germany 2006...I'll be travelling over to watch my footballing nobody countrymen play in the world cup. We made it to the cup...anything from here is just a bonus!!

What?? Yes, you're right, that was extremely arrogant of me to say things like that. :wwww

BTW...I couldn't see the smilies you included to annoy me because of the tears in my eyes!!!!!  (you should be on the stage lad, or writting funny books)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Are there football fields every few blocks, or atleast one makeshift one kids put together in Australia??

Everyone you know support a club, and defend them at all costs when think think someone have no room to talk badly about it and their players??

Do you actually know what it is to see people hate eachother on sight because of the clubs they support?? I

s there any derby in Australia that can compare to Penarol vs. Nacional, or River vs. Boca??

Going to the World Cup means NOTHING to the average Australian fan compared to a Uruguayan. NOTHING. I've been living in Argentina for the past 2 years or almost that, my past two years mean more than anything probably YOU or the "Average Australian football fan" will feel or see of the sport in their lifetime.

I never came in here wanting to argue with anyone, but debate.

Did I ever say it was Australia's fault??  I mean it directly is since they won over two legs, but I didn't blame them for
anything else.

Ok... i'll respond to these comments in order

yes I do, I also see adults playing it at every park, and before you say anything I see people playing rugby cricket or afl at these same parks at the same time.  We like sport, all sport, i dont see what this comment actually had to do with anything...

Once again there is in my town and we are only a small provincial centre.

All my friends, my teachers, my parents, my cousins  etc. we all support clubs and defend them vehemently

Once again yes i do

yes there is... its called Queensland vs New South Wales - State of Origin and I've been to a number of State of origins and could say that Jihads have been conducted with less hostility.

So thats why football stories (about that game) ahve been just about the only thing in the sports section of any paper in australia since the game was played? thats why everyone you talk to on the street wants to chat about the game, thats why i no people who will only take an interest in 'that f.ucking poofs game' that everyone on these boards love because of the passion australia showed in sydney on wednesday?

Um righteo... so you living in Argentina means that Uruguay should qualify for the world cup...
??? yep makes sense to me

A debate is an argument, just one with structure

Wait wait wait... first you say you never said it was australias fault... then straight after it you say that it is australias fault... and anyway how is it Australias fault? If uruguay are half as good as you claim then why didnt they win over two legs?

all i can say is you need proffesional  :help

What's hilarious is that I called you on your stupidity. Laugh at it all you want, I think you look stupid. That's all that matters to me, not your opinion on me or any Aussies. I put just as much thought into my long reply, and you did with yours. I'll save you a seat in the wagon. You know I'm right also. You called me on on my credibility as a football fan, saying that I was a sad supporter for making fun of the fact that I bought a jersey and that I wouldn't be able to wear it for the near future...and that an Australian football fan would never say such because they were proud or what not. Atleast that's what I interpreted it as. I told you the difference between me and an Australian football fan, didn't I?? I told it like it is. And I showed your debating skills for what most of it is and was...tripe. You commenting on non-issues mostly and trying to manipulate my words, so as to try and get what little point across you want to make. And I didn't call you arrogant because you were gloating, I called you such because you are thick-head and persisted with "demands of the modern game" garbage and excuses and failed to admit the fact that your team played dirty. That's the bottomline.

And, I don't play on the street. Why would I?? I was letting you know the scenes of a true footballing nation, not one who's team in nicknamed the Socceroos and people start to support and put the spotlight on because they qualified. Don't comment on me as a fan, you have no room.

I don't like insulting people (It may seem I'm having a laugh with that), but you're an idiot.

Where did I say where I lived had anything to do Uruguay qualifying?? Maybe, you should brush up on your reading comprehension skills there. You get things all twisted around. I was addressing Lionheart and his "Australian football fan" nonsense. Read with your eyes open, mate. I addressed Uruguay's campaign and their "right" to qualify. I've responded to anything directed to me, it's all there if you look. If you just want to have a go, then fu.ck off. Technically, for the short answer and analysis - it is Australia's fault Uruguay didn't qualify. Who did Uruguay play in the play-off?? It's not rocket science, genius.

You and Lionheart should stop being such nationalists trying to compete with me. Australia isn't a footballing nation. End of story. It's not the same passion or meaning. Defend your team all you want, but Australia simply isn't a footballing nation. Anything happening in Australia in regards to the sport is nothing compared to anywhere in South America or Europe. Why am I wrong in saying that?? If a British person was talking down to me because I am an American and didn't know about my ties to anywhere else, I would accept their views and not fight it. F.uck. I would love to go to a Liverpool vs. Manchester Utd game, it would be better than any game in Argentina. Obviously, Uruguay. Their league isn't great or anything. Would personally mean more to me in my lifetime than anything here.

See, how passionate I am when talking about a dumb sport?? Who's the most passionate of the bunch?? I sound retarded.  :D

I'm American, my father is Uruguayan. I've only lived in Uruguay for a year when like 7. Insult me in English, if you want. I won't have toruble understanding, as I'm judging that I'm probably more highly educated than you by reading your posts.  :D

If you want another sweeping generalization, from reading most posts directed at me here - it seems alot of you Aussies have trouble understanding things. I've rambled, but anything people wanted to know is there. Instead of wasting your time typing things out to me that aren't necessary, you should have wasted it reading my rambles and avoided unnecessary comments.

Kid a, I won't continue this discussion in this public forum for fear that you are making yourself look a tad silly. I have written you a personal message in the hope you might see the light. One can but hope...

QUEENSLANDER!!!

Sorry, but the mention of State of Origin g\revved me up.

You have to accept that Australia has 4 other major codes- AFL, Rugby Union, Rugby League & Cricket, that football has to compete with. Not to mention one of the toughest motorsport categories in the world (V8 Supercars).
You'll never walk alone.
