Although I was utterly upset by the scoreline, I am more bewildered by Rafa insisting to play the unplayable (for us at the moment because we really lack quality wide players) 4-5-1 system religiously game-in, game-out because this man Rafael Benitez is a proven winner who has repeated his successes (Howard Wilkinson also won the league with Leeds but did nothing much after that), is recognised as a very bright and intelligent coach and does not is not a one-dimensional football person.
Rafa should know how to go abouts doing his job, and apart from him, only God knows why he is persisting with this formation.
However, we must look at the overall perspective and see the big picture. I am still convinced that Rafa is a good coach who have more chance than not of taking Liverpool forward. Then, there was also a game several years back when Arsenal lost 6-2 to manure. It is just one game, and it is just another 3 points lost.
Hard as it is to take, learn from it, try to make the necessary improvements and bounce back.
Get a life, scally sally. I wouldn't like to call you names but you are the "pr1ck" if you see this one game as the be-all that ends all...
