why does rafa not want michael hes been our top scorer for the past year and scores for the fun of it .We need to get him and we should let mellor go .

I think he will come back too and hope he does!! Real Madrid have only paid us £4 million of the fee we charged for Owen! So it wont break the bank either!!

It is a done deal. The only reason for the hold up is due to Michael wishing to avoid a huge tax bill from the IR. He has to be out of the country for a full year, otherwise the IR will do him for a full years tax. How much is he on at Madrid, £65k a week? Thay would equate to roughly £1.1m he would have to cough up!!!! Ouch!!!

this topic about owen is getting sooooooo boring!
its the same people saying that we are getting owen and the same people saying we are not.
and all this b*ll :censored:

about "my nans, friends of a friend saw owen in melwood" and "owen has met up with my dads, mates brother in law for a pint and said his coming!" (maybe a few over-exagerrated, but you know what i mean!)
i just can't wait until the transfer window ends and we can finally put an end to the whole owen saga. whether he comes or goes, i dont care anymore! i just want a centre back and a right winger!
whoever says that the essien-chelsea deal is the most ongoing transfer story is talkin sh*te!

yea, but at least there was a genuine chance of getting him. we were actually in talks with figo. we are not with owen.

D'you know what Pass, I said exactly the same thing in the car ride home from the footy. The whole Essien saga has bored me sh!tless and frankly i'm happy it's finally over. The papers bore me to death with gossip rather than focusing on matches!! :angry:
