"Two or three more signings" was Rafas boast after confirming the four new faces earlier this week. Who we all thought, who? Wellllll Peter Crouch was a gimme & a defender was a good bet, but FIGO! Remember Houlliers mantra of no superstars, no fancy dans. For a while there we all went along with it but after a bit I wanted superstars all the more because our players seemed to be cloggers with very little flare & even less skill. Thats not the case because after one season with Benitez, Biscan could pass, Carra was a monster defender & Traore could play a bit too(a bloody four year contract)!!!! PLEASE GET FIGO. What a player. Ok ok I know 32 n all that but he's a fantastic player & a bloke like Figo playing 45 mins a week will scare the **** out of defenders & lift Liverpool every week. A player to enjoy. Imagine all that pressure Gerrards had taken away be this truly world class player. PLEASE. YNWA

yeah i agree totally with your views, figo will be a great signing and he is still a class player no matter the age, he wont play in all games and he may only have 45 minutes but he will be a player people will enjoy watching, teams will fear him, he will show his skill

im suddenly becoming very excited about the coming season, stevie and carra have now signed contracts and gerrard can concentrate on his football 100%, we have signed a very good player in zenden on a free, young players with obvious talent have been brought in, more signings to come hopefully figo who will add some experience and class to the side along with strengthening the squad and then there are more signings to come hopefully soon and we still have a lot of money left to spend so im hoping the players to come in will be quality.

im looking at this season with some excitement and hoping it will be a good one, better than recent times anyway especially in the premiership
