He is undoubted class but hasn't been a pivotal member of the squad in any way, shape or form so far.

I hope he stays because I think he WILL find his feet but it's not a big deal if he goes, as long as we sign a decent replacement

Rafa break a few legs to get Nando here don't think he will let him go. He admitted he hasn't played to his standard mainly because he was idle on the bench for half a year. Watch him go next season before passing judgement...

Agreed

If Nando did go after only season considering his cost would be big deal when you also consider that Baros seems to have virtually talked himself out of Anfield. (his loss because personally i think he rue it in the future) and despite some good signs im still not sure  whether Cisse is real deal

Im certainly be stoked if we even get a couple of million for waste of space Diouf

MORIENTES GOING WOULD BE INSANE...  The guy hasn't slotted in yet I know but he is pure class and that class WILL tell next year in a better set-up team.  Nando has been unlucky not to be involved in our amazing CL run and I think this has marginalised him in the mind of alot of (particularly TV watching only) fans, who maybe only associate him with our dreadful league performances.  What Rafa tried to do early doors with what he had was get the whole team playing to his requirements, i.e. as consistent winners.  What failed was that some players couldn't or wouldn't (Baros) adopt the mentality.  Rafa has admitted this and that when such players can't change their ways, such players get sold and new players who can play his way get brought in.  Mori is a Rafa type of player.  A settled partnership with Cisse from the start next season, backed up by stevie, possibly a resurgent Kewell and a couple of new talents could be the dream for us.  Then again I could be completely wrong.

Cant see Morientes going at all, Rafa wanted him all season and finally got him in the transfer window (that was January) he has looked lacklustre and unfit but to suggest he would leave after 5 months is ridiculous. He has also been unlucky that he has been involved in a team not in form...shattered from European exploits.
I agree with anyone that says he hasnt settled YET but am very confident that with a decent pre-season he will be fit...know more English and have bonded better with his team mates which will help him come to terms with life in England.

Hey everyone.

Everbody is going on about dudek leaving, some people say kirkland, and some more say likely Dudek.

I think that the person to go is kirkland, he may be young but he is always injured, plus we have carson now, who i prefer, i think rafa will stick with dudek, experience for the kid that isn't injured.

As my names says i am dudeks  no.1 fan.

I wish he didn't flap about and cok up as much tho.

Still better than Kirkland tho.

I don't think Kewell will leave this summer but I think Baros will.

I agree, can't see Kewell leaving.  His main problem is confidence, when it's low he's a bit idle but still has a lot of talent.  If he leaves, we'd have to break the bank to get a decent replacement. I honestly can't see too many players leaving as Rafa has already said that our sqaud is too small.  I think the emphasis will be on recruiting quality, not quantity though

mellor will stay, solely for the reason he is british, and that with the new uefa rules we need to hold on to him or pay up the :censored: for someone just as talented, but 3 times more expensive
