My heart says Istanbul, but my head says Liverpool.

I am thinking of booking the day of the final off and the day after. I live near Anfield, so I am going to hang around the ground on the day, maybe go to one of the boozers around there in the afternoon and soak up any atmosphere going on. There will probably be TV cameras and ex-players there etc... and I'm going to try and feel as part of it as I can.

By the time the game comes around, I will be nearly be physically sick due to nerves like last week before we played Chelsea.....

booked the day off cos i believed the team would reach the final, good thing i did it in advance as the call centre is full of liverpool fans i normally watch it with my cousins and mates and none of whom are liverpool fans which is why i wanna watch it in a bar so the atmosphere would be electric

in the same pub i been in all the matches where we won while most of my mates drive up to liverpool.
when we win it im seriously conisdering jumping in a cab and coming up to liverpool as well but that could cost me a bit

Ill probably end up stayin in Liverpool i dont want to miss the Champions League parade in our city, hope they are gona arrange something for those who cant make it. :cool:

Hunny get your arsee on one off them Barnes's two day'ers. I no its not cheap but how often do you get the chance to watch the mighty reds of LIverpool Football Club in a European cup final.

Taken the two days off as shift rest sitting in front of TV with cup of coffee in one hand and a beer in the other as it will be 2.30 in morning in my part of the world
