heard if LFC do win the CL but came fith in the PL we wouldnt qualify .

FA has to decide whether the fourth placed team or us if we were to win the CL are going to qualify then the UEFA has to approve the FA's decision.

Imagine that we did win the CL and maybe we did finnish 5th or 6th then the FA decided to put LFC back into the CL the following year

Imagine the reaction from David moyes or Sam A. (especially) whinging how the so called bigger clubs get the favouritism over the likes of the Toffes and Trotters i would think there would be uproar from anyone of those to camps.

What would be worse was if they said we couldnt go back to defend our trophy and then we would have to sit back and watch one of the other 2 getting knocked out in the group stages anyway.That would pi$$ me off no end if we couldnt get back in CL after winning it

The Champions deserve to defend it, end of story.

I don't agree with FIFA's rule of the World Champions having to qualify (although for Brazil it won't be a probelm), so I will not agree with the FA if we win the CL but finish 5th, but they don't let us defend it.

I dont think anybody on the forum will agree with the FA but it could still happen .

Look at from Evertons view they have had a damn good season and if they were to finnish and be told they havent qualified cos their red friends across stanley pk have taken there place i think they would be pi$$ed off to.

Call me pesermistic but IF we do win the CL and dont finnish fourth i dont think we will be in it next season

So to stop any of these decisions being made we have to grab 4th but starting with a win tonight.

a win tonight and we will be 4th (as I don't see the blueshite getting a result against the mancshite). I believe the players will be fired up to go for both...(finishing 4th and winning the CL) and I think it's time we are due some luck
