i reckon we can nick a 1-0 win at home but that wont be enuff, we can be glad that of the teams left juventus werent exactly the most enthralling attacking side and i honestly think away from home we will definitely get a goal hitting them on the counter i just sh*t myself thinking man they got cannavaro centre back, then to back it up they got thuram to partner him, if thats not enuff they got the stalwart emerson protecting them!! i dont think any team in the world with the exception of AC milan has a stronger defensive backbone than juventus

i had my tickets lined up with the kop shop but needed 2 days off work and couldnt get either

Well the game is on Tuesday at Anfield that means we only have 2 days in between to recover and prepare, it's not ideal but at least we won't have to travel.

The goalkeeper and the defence picks itself. And Baros will definitely play upfront with either Gerrard or Garcia supporting him. I think Rafa will decide to have Garcia supporting Baros and Choose Biscan over Welsh to partner Gerrard in central midfield. Because of all injuries those are our only real options.

I wouldn’t be too confident about Baros and Garcia as out attack against a defence like Juventus's. Gerrard is our best player and we need a super performance from him if we want to break down 1 of the best defences in the world.

Thats what it said in my post (the one before yours).

I must admit I am not too confiedent about Baros and Garcia trying to break down Blasi, Emerson, Thurum, Cannavaro and Buffon!

Gerrard is the 1 player we have who is world class or potentially world class, on his day he is able to make any defender look a fool, that is why I would like to see him in a more advanced role.

Gerrard was not as effective today in an advanced role as we didn't have the midfield players to get him the ball, so therefore he wasn't on the ball creating things enough.

Play him in central midfield and let him run the game from there, we will get a few chances and hopefully Milan or someone can take one or two of them.

Note: If Warnock available, Traore goes on bench. If Warnock not available, Traore takes his position and someone else takes the bench.
