The fact is that despite the ups and downs of this innaugral first season it's quite obvious that there is a mutual love between Benitez and Liverpool fans and not one that we should underestimate.
On the Benitez phenomenon don't forget that players like Alonso, Garcia etc ..... came to Liverpool largely because Benitez is the boss here and whose to say other players won't want to come to LFC for the same reason irrespective of where we finish THIS season ....
True we will probably atract more better class off players on the cheap front from La Liga now, and Im made up.
He is a tactical genious when it comes to our euro games, but I think it will take him maybe one more season after this to learn about the prem.
As long as we start finishing in the top 3 in the next year or 2 I dont mind, cause if we are succeeding in europe this is really where you want to be.
Also I think we will get to more finals, F.A. cup, CC again
