In your "Take out the Garbage" thread (jan 18th) you say "he's not good enough for lfc " and you then go on to call him a "muppet" . If this is your honest opinion why have you picked Traore to play against Southampton .

??

Despite the fact that I don't think he's good enough, Benitez is patient and will probably will use Traore anyways. i.e. Kewell was poor from the start of this season but Benitez kept on starting him and eventually Kewell started playing better, too bad he's injured as he looked that he was slowly regaining his old form.

This line up was YOUR selection not the one you think Rafa will use (you showwhat you think will be Rafa's possible line up later in the thread)
So once again, why pick Traore when you think he's such a "muppet "

This is what I said muppet " Anyways, this is what the starting 11 will probably look like."

Keywords "propably look like", I didn't say this is who I would start, I said this is who would propably start.

I find it hard to believe that some people actually think Benitez will play Carson against Soton. He has just arrived and is miles away from the starting line up. He does not know the players and their names for christ sakes. He does not know the defenders well enough to communicate with them effectively, and he does not know the system and the tactics. This should be obvious to any person with an IQ more than 60.

And he will play both Pellegrino and Garcia. That is clear. Benitez has worked with both these players before and know they are quality players. He will push Carragher to RB and use Sami and Pelle in the middle. This should work out fine. The biggest question is midfield. If Gerrard can't play I fear Biscan is the only option left. Hopefully he can give a little bit more effort that vs Burnley. But even at 100% Biscan ain't good enough for the premiership. If I was in charge I'd play Warnock on the left and Riise in the middle. Riise has played there before and will probably do a better job than Biscan anyway.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.

Finnan      Carragher     Hyypia      Traore

Garcia      Gerrard        Hamann     Riise

              Morientes     Baros

Muppet, who else is going to play as a LB other than Traore? It would be foolish to take Riise out of the midfield as he's been in good form, so tell me genius who else is there to play as a left back other than the youngsters and Traore? Traore is not good enough but we have nobody else.

Gonna be a close one today with Saints battling for their lives and us in the middle of some lousy form. Got tickets + only live 20 miles from Southampton so just off to the game now.

I fancy an ugly 2-1 with a bit of Milan magic the difference between the two sides. I hope so coz i'm astuck in the Saints end!

Congratulations AB, it's taken you a few attempts but you've at last managed to give a straight forward answer to a straight forward question.
I was suprised you picked Traore for your line up against Southampton as the day before you were calling for him to be sold and referring to him as a muppet. You now justify your choice by saying that although he's not good enough (your opinion) he's all we have available (kids aside).
Personally I quite like the Riise and Warnock combination down the left ,they seem to have a good understanding and interchange positions with ease,(you may not be aware of this as you've never actually attended one of our matches).
I do however agree with your observation that Traore will probably get to start.
