next time have reasons why, dont just state stuff like that or you'll get kicked in the nads :P

Kewell is better IMO...but when hes on form. Risse is my prefered wingback. Kewell has more trickery that can have better and more decent runs down the flanks and can cut in while dribbling well.

Risse has a more basic style of dribbling i reckon, which is still effective against lower clubs, but can usually be closed down by top notch defence.

Kewell on form is a better attacking option than Risse and their performance is more than just goalscoring. Kewell is better in the air and has a better final ball, however this argument is void really. IMO Rafa doesnt have an 11 in mind in the sence that we understand it to be. I should imagine putting injuries aside and neglecting the fact that they may become the best pairing down the left side in Prem under Rafa and thus play the majority of games I would reckon Kewell would still play more games on the wing. Also whilst Kewell isnt exactly our most consistant player you cant say Risse has been great consistantly. Whilst I think he has developed as a player its only been in the last few months that this has become noticable and not just due to his goalscoring, he doesnt get beaten as much and seems to have matured and taken on extra responsibility for the team. Kewell IMO has also shown a willingness to work hard for the team and I put this down to Rafa he has lifted several players from the comfort zone.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Did i blame injuries? I said Kewell is better when hes on form. This season Risse has improved heaps and atm obviously is in better place than Kewell cos of injuries. I am not blaming them. That is how it is right now.

On form Kewell is better. Do not put words in my mouth you tool.

I don't really think anyone can say who is the better left midfielder, because Kewell hasn't been in form for the duration of time at Anfield, which is sad. He is undoubtably a great talent but until I see him on his top form in a red shirt, I won't say which is better.

Go on, say, I really want to know now.

imo we need a proper left winger, kewell isn't that player hes more of a forward player, playing behiind the strikers, and riise is a left midfielder, but does anyone not agree that we dont yet have a left winger who can run past players and always looks a threat?

Got to go with RIISE at the moment
He's been scoring plenty lately - I can just see one of his rockets going in to open the scoring against the Scum
Maybe give Kewell a run out tonight - if he's fit

Kewell has nothing to offer anymore. His Liverpool career has been nothing short of shocking (bad that is). A complete waste of 65.000 every week. Riise is not a fancy winger with a lot of trix. But he is a hard working team player. Often that is enough.
