Liverpool vs Arsenal 01/11 16:30

Liverpool Football Club - Games

This will be a tough test vs the champions, they ain't as flamboyant as City but are a tough stubborn side. Mentioned it before that it is too much to ask for this side to compete for the title yet. If we manage to win though, others may see us as potential challengers, bring it on I say.

Anyhow Sboz, Munoz according to gaffer may make it back and they ain't got Saka.
Expecting same side that faced Brighton. We win and we're 3 points closer to them.

I can't see this being a high scoring game either a statement or either team nicks it.

This will probably be our toughest test as they are a defensive team and very physical, it will probably be a 0-0 draw unless a moment of brilliance or a refereeing intervention. First goal will change the game for either team and we will need to work harder than them to have a chance, if we do then I don’t see why we can’t win.

The rule changes surrounding set pieces have definitely affected them, without their ale house tactics they are struggling for goals.
Win this and we are deffo in a title race.

As incredible as it may sound, a win tomorrow will put us 3 points off the top of the table.

Will be a tough one, but we’ve been steadily improving. Anything can happen.

Our win vs Brighton looks even better now, considering they've beaten top 2 sides so far.

One of the reasons i really hope we win today is so we dont lose all this momentum that we've built, that City game really took all the wind out of our sails, hope we dont suffer a similar kick in the teeth today.
Even after todays game we've still got the likes of United and Everton to negotiate but after that come mid December we've got a run of more than winnable games [at least on paper] looming up on our horizon, if we can get ourselves into the mix today and stay there over the next few weeks we could really do some damage over the Christmas and New Year.

Nyoni starts with Mac in midfield. Not surprised given his mature performance against Chelsea, who started their best midfield against you mind you. And also given Grav's brain dead performance in the same game.

15 mins in and we’ve not yet got going…

Edit

And they’ve scored.

Absolute fookin' shocking decision not to give a peno for the shirt pull. The others weren't a peno for me but that was blatant. And VAR completely ignored it
Macca should have buried that header, terrible miss. Wirtz very unlucky too

We woke up after conceding but it's very difficult to score against these especially when they're in front.

We had a few penalty shouts, most of them weren't pens IMO but the shirt pull on Isak was a definite pen. Isak was dumb not to make more of that, fall or at least wave his arms around or something.
