It's a huge risk letting this fella take charge of next season's pre-season given how unfit our players have looked throughout this campaign. Even if they sack him early doors next season what can the new guy do with an unfit squad?

Well I suppose we have to give him the benefit of being a smart enough man to see his failings and correct them, he surely reads the papers and watches tv so must know about the fitness issues or at least what people are saying. Next year will be his last year of his contract and if he wants success then next year is huge for him to show that last year was an anomaly and not the year before. He has tasted more success than failure as a manager so let’s hope he can make us believe next year.

This season would have been tough for any manager so I’ll wait till next year before I write him and the team’s chances off.

Nothing will miraculously change over summer so by October he could be down the road. No way can he fluke 4 place next year with this setup/playing style. We've been sh!te all bar 4 games when we turned up. His team selection is questionable at times, his substitutions have been ridiculous and some of his instructions have us now playing slow boring pass it sideways and backwards, go one nil down , yawn fest football.

Sure there are many but just curious anyone else lost that "buzz" of watching footy lol.

I've been keeping tabs on Scottish footy that is how bad it has gone lol. Hoping Hearts break that old firm curse.

What bothers me most is the lack of intensity we have shown in matches this season, and we went through it with Klopp also, the last year of Milner and Hendo in midfield. If you go back to the old match threads the complaints were always the same…. We lacked intensity and it made us average. This year was the same and it’s not just about running, it’s about getting stuck in and fighting for the ball. That would be my biggest gripe this year that losing Jota and all the injuries could not explain away.

Excellent watch and compare that to today’s master class in anti football, probably end up 1-0 scored buy bundling the ball across the line on a corner. I hate PSG as a club but they have a talented team and remind me of Liverpool in Klopp’s hayday. All quick, all have great technical skills and all work hard with or without the ball. As a team it’s hard to dislike them.

Yup it was a cracking match, I also love how PSG attack it definitely reminds me of us during Klopps time. Doue, Kvara and Demebele linking up is a treat to watch.

Also to be fair Bayern linkage uptop is up there with our Lucho, Olise, Kane.

Both deserved to be in the final.

Yup up next a fekin boresome semi from anti football. Going to give that a miss.

Fully enjoyed watching yesterday's match, as a natural. You're just relaxed not supporting any side and enjoying the footy.

If I had to choose from final 4 I'd prefer Bayern to win it though. So I guess I'll be supporting them in 2nd leg lol

I can barely muster the enthusiasm to watch us these days never mind anyone else, the past 12 months have been brutal, to go from title winners to losing 18 games is some fall, even our wins are usually scrappy as hell and dull as dishwater to watch.

Make that 19 losses now. First time United have beaten us home and away in a decade.

God help us if this guy is in charge next season.

We have no identity and there’s no signs of progress. Our players also look unfit and undertrained.

I’m hoping the rumours of slot staying are not true, because next season will be another write off.

That's exactly what it is, we are unfit and undertrained. We have no identity, Slot just does the same things tactically game after game, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but he won't change.

I saw the writing on the wall in November, and how the owners have let us get to this stage is criminal. The players, and fans have lost all hope and look defeated before a balls even been kicked. When that happens its time for a change. 95% of clubs wouldn't have let it get to this state. The only hope I have left is if they analyse the season at the end and then decide we need a new manager going into next season.

If this guy stays on for next season it'll be more of the same. Are we likely to suddenly click and turn into world beaters or at least Bournemouth, Fulham & Spurs beaters? Nope

Slot to Ajax is doing the rounds... could be a good move for him. Read somewhere he like travels home for 3 days at a time (not sure if that's weekly or monthly) to visit his family? You'd think when Dad/Husband takes a multi-million pound a year job they'd maybe look to relocate but no.

It's been a farce from start to finish and I include the league title season in that as we all know that was not Slot's making.

Too tired and “in need of a break” to prepare /train for the United game. Poor babies...

The good news is Slot only has one year left on his contract so shouldn't be expensive to buy out compared to the Chelsea manager who was 60 days into a 6.1/2 year contract. See ya Slotty.
