How long do we wait before we put this fella out of his misery?

We are already 4 points off the CL places and defeat to Sunderland could see us below Everton by the middle of the week.

Its a sh1t show.

I mean i called it back in December exactly what could happen if we kept Slot at the helm, and its now become reality. If he stays, we don't make top 4, if we make changes we have a slight chance of top 4. We didnt react quick enough to horrendous results and form.. Chelsea and United did, and thats the reason we are now playing catch up.

Every league winning side, every great team has been led by a manager with character and a vision. LFC, City, United, Chelsea, Leeds, Forest... even Leicester.
No team of players has every gone on to win the league or the European Cup carrying it's manager.
Success starts with the manager then shows itself on the field.

It seems to me that Slot fails tactically but also fails to motivate his players to buy into his system and give 100%.

We're vulnerable, we're weak, we set up to defend the nil nil. Play is too slow, reaction to going a goal down is too slow, subs are too slow. As we stand right now I would bet ANY team in the premier league could beat us on any given day. We're not safe at all, 5 wins at the start of the season due to last minute goals is keeping us where we are, if they were draws you can take 10 points off us now. That puts us in 15th. That's the margins! 5 late late last minute goals at a time we were riding the buzz of being reigning Champions, now teams have realised we're there to be beaten.

Slot needs to walk

That's the problem in today's game. Slot is going through the motions, but he won't walk knowing that if he gets sacked he'll get a £10m pay out.

The club will look at it and think if we sack Slot now that will cost the club £10m.

No one expected this season to look like it has. I expected us to be head to head with Arsenal for the title. Now after 25 games we are 17 points behind, and they have +27 GD on us aswell.

We have won 5 league games in 5 months... thats the scarey reality.

With Chelsea dropping points from a 2-0 lead and United currently losing.. its last chance saloon for Slot tomorrow. If he manages not to win that game, then he should be fired on the spot.

Agreed  :nod  :nod  :nod
Won a title whilst just performing as a caretaker for another mans team, and received many plaudits for doing next to fk all apart from instructing the team to ease up on the pedal.
Once he started to implement his own "ideas" the decline began and sadly it continues.  :kungfu:

The f*cking Egg (Slopp) has been resting on his laurels after winning a title with Jurgens team. Since then it's been nothing more than a steady decline.
My biggest fear, apart from the board keeping him as manager, is that quality players may start to think "Nah, don't think I'm gonna win anything with this fella in charge"

The sooner Slopp goes the sooner we will get better  :buttrock

Time is up.

He ranted about boring football and look at the tripe he dishes up week in week out. He's guilty and looks a right bell end for saying it to the media. The club need to have a long think and do what's needed.
There is a chance we wont make top 4/5 - that to me would be the bare minimum required of Cloghead this season, that should be treated as a failure. If I fail at work I get my ***** kicked down the road.

£10m is nothing to the club to try salvage CL footie, it'll pay them back by just qualifying but we won't qualify with Cloghead in charge. £10m is worth the risk but who replaces him?

Uncle Festa has sunk our ship.

I mean the stats don't lie do they?
first 4 games...

vs Bournmouth 88 & 94 min W
vs Newcastle 100 min W
vs Arsenal 83 min W
vs Burnley 95 min W

Then a run of 6 loses in the next 7 games followed up with a run of 6 Draws in the next 10 games

turn those 1st four results into draws(let's face it, they easily could've been) and we're in 9th place.

We had some of those injured players through these games too but it's simply not good enough. Time is up.

In two of those 4 wins at the start of the season we won vs 10 men aswell. We were 2-0 vs Newcastle, and then Gordon got sent off for that horrendous tackle on VVD. We somehow threw a 2 goal lead away, only for young Rio to save the day.

We were drawing 0-0 with Burnley until they had a man sent off. Salah finally got the winner at 90+5.

We got lucky vs West Ham winning 1-0 under pressure.. Paqueta gets sent off, and we finally put the game to bed with Gakpo scoring in 90+2.

Then we played Spurs who got Xavi Simmons sent off after 33 minutes. We scored 2 goals after half time, and then sat back and defended. Spurs got 1 back in the 83rd minute and we were hanging on for our lives even though Spurs had been down to men for 40 minutes.

We are in a terrible place, but looking at those 4 wins it could've been even WORSE.

Nothing we've done this season has been convincing and we're 29 league games into the season.

£10m pay off for Slot today could save the season and be worth multiple millions with a CL qualification.
Keep Slot and we'll save £10m but it'll cost us multiple millions, plus the knock ons of us not having CL footie, players not interested in coming to us etc etc

It's a no brainer, he's got to go
