How long do we wait before we put this fella out of his misery?
We are already 4 points off the CL places and defeat to Sunderland could see us below Everton by the middle of the week.
Its a sh1t show.
That's the problem in today's game. Slot is going through the motions, but he won't walk knowing that if he gets sacked he'll get a £10m pay out.leeroy74 » Mon Feb 09, 2026 9:56 am wrote:We're vulnerable, we're weak, we set up to defend the nil nil. Play is too slow, reaction to going a goal down is too slow, subs are too slow. As we stand right now I would bet ANY team in the premier league could beat us on any given day. We're not safe at all, 5 wins at the start of the season due to last minute goals is keeping us where we are, if they were draws you can take 10 points off us now. That puts us in 15th. That's the margins! 5 late late last minute goals at a time we were riding the buzz of being reigning Champions, now teams have realised we're there to be beaten.
Slot needs to walk

In two of those 4 wins at the start of the season we won vs 10 men aswell. We were 2-0 vs Newcastle, and then Gordon got sent off for that horrendous tackle on VVD. We somehow threw a 2 goal lead away, only for young Rio to save the day.leeroy74 » Wed Mar 04, 2026 12:29 pm wrote:I mean the stats don't lie do they?
first 4 games...
vs Bournmouth 88 & 94 min W
vs Newcastle 100 min W
vs Arsenal 83 min W
vs Burnley 95 min W
Then a run of 6 loses in the next 7 games followed up with a run of 6 Draws in the next 10 games
turn those 1st four results into draws(let's face it, they easily could've been) and we're in 9th place.
We had some of those injured players through these games too but it's simply not good enough. Time is up.
