Carvahal is injured for the season and Trent will want to at least provide competition for him, so he won't want to go there injured. A big injury could scupper any chances he has so no way hes utting his body on the line to risk that. His agent will have him well schooled.

Maybe taking 20m won't be such a bad idea.

As for Trent, I’m surprised at how bad he was yesterday. The margins are so thin to make it in the premier, how quickly a player can go from being one of the best passers in the world to an average player that couldn’t hit a ten yard pass, the weakest link and a major reason why we didn’t win. I never thought he could get so affected.

Rumours will circulate no doubt, if it is true I'd definitely hope Slot will give Bradley more game time till end of season.

Trent is a simple lad who's going for the perceived glory and money. Carra and StevieG were special, happy to stay with the club their full careers, Trent is just like any other entitled wannabe these days. Just go.

Most important thing for me is winning the PL this year and we need all our players at their best, I’m not going to over react to press reports. When he leaves in the summer then the vitriol can come out. I get why people are angry but we will need him at his best for the remainder of the season. If Bradley was guaranteed to play every minute then fine but he is injury prone and think we will need Trent.

I did read that Real want Trent for the club World Cup which will start before his contract is done which means they may have to pay a fee to get him if they want him to play. It’s a huge amount to the winner so they will want to win and will have a better chance with him in the team.

Could also apply to Salah if he is going  to Saudi outfit Al Hilal who are also in the same tournament.

If that is the case we definitely should let them have him, get a fee at least. League is more or less done, will have Bradley back anyway.

To be fair, his numbers are world class. Those players don’t come around every day.

Not really news  though is it. We knew it was coming since last year. Personally I don't begrudge him a move to a club like Real. At least it isn't to another Premier league club.

The issue that annoys me more is that' it's another player going for free that shouldn't be. What happened to negotiating deals when they enter the final 24 months!! Not signing then sell them!!

A lot of players have signed contracts with their clubs before moving to a different club in order to get them more money, why couldn't Trent do at least that for his boyhood club who he dreamed of being captain of one day? f*ck him.
