So Spain wins it, deservedly so IMO. Hate to admit it but that Rodri is the best player in the world atm for sure, proper midfielder and a great character too, wish we had him in our team.

Gutted for Mac Allister but Argentina was awful, him inlcuded sadly.

Macallister reverted to Liverpool form last night. The team performance was an insult to the global audience and their behaviour after the final whistle an Argentine  national embarrassment, except it wasn't because that's the way they are.

I read the match report in the Buenos Aires Hearld this morning, it didn't mention the sending off nor the trouble after the game. If you don't face the problem, you don't have to address it.

Don't think anyone wanted to see Argentina win. They got away with so much throughout the tournament starting in the 1st game when Messi ploughed his studs into the back of a lads calf.  Any half challenge on him and he gets a free. Not just him but others got away with a lot too. In the England game Simeone should have been sent off in the first 15 minutes for so many fouls. They left something in every challenge and last night wasn't any better. Delighted they lost.

FIFA is so corrupt and I really hope that's the end of infantino. Hes a stain on the game.
