Here we go again!!!!!! 

Love this time of year when we are getting ready for a new season and it's almost here. Big big year for us with a new gaffer so with any luck we will have a great season.  Based on preseason I think the team to start will be

                           Allison.

  Trent         quansah   Virgil     Kostas.

                        Mac        Grav

                                Szob.

  Salah                     jota                Diaz.

We have just got to get stuck in and get a result. It's their 1st game back in the prem and in front of a home crowd they will be up for laying out a marker. They don't call them the tractor boys for nothing.

Il go for 2.0 to us with Jota and Szob getting the goals.

After a good pre-season it is going to be interesting to see how new gaffer does in his first proper game in charge. Shame we haven't got any new inclusions yet. We've got a good squad that should get a top 4 position, hopefully.

This will be tricky, Ipswich will be raring to go but also I'd suspect they will definitely be nervous, first game infront of their own fans. We should have enough to despatch these lot, 3-1 Liverpool.

It’s been a long time since our bubble burst last season and I’m excited about a match, can’t wait to see how we evolve. I’m praying we win the league and shut up all those that said all we are is a Klopp team and we would be nothing without him. Time for a new era

Nice to see Ipswich back in the First Division! Great memories of days past, Mick Mills, a young Gary Lineker, John Wark and one of the best managers ever, Bobby Robson.

Is going to be a tough game, Ipswich will be up for this and so will their fans.

Slot has admitted he’s never won an opening game of the season, but I’m going for an optimistic 1-3 to the reds.

That said, it’ll probably be a dull 1-1…

I hope Robbo and Trent are fully fit for this as both have little minutes built up in preseason..

Also see Gomez was left out of the squad to sort out his future.  Think this is a big mistake tbh because of how poor Konates fitness is. I'd be moving him out first.

Nor a fan of us sitting so deep passing it around in our box. It's just pass pass hoof.

For Christs sake ! did we play any pre season games  ? . We look so rusty and uncoordinated , passing is off and the tackle when closing down is laughable.

Struggling to find any positives from our performance so far 

How was that not a second yellow for Burns? Deliberate handball on a booking. Looks like the officials have continued straight from last season screwing us over.

Thought our first half performance was ***** BUT the team finally turned up in the second half . Great performance 

Good start 2-0...Mo with an assist and another 1st game of the season goal. Thot Szobo was silky as well
