So banned for an additional match and fined 100k

he's old enough to know better....

One of the highest fines given to a player, Mitrovic got a 75k fine for pushing over the ref.

£100k fine for saying something? That’s effin ridiculous, what could he have possibly said to warrant that? Must have been horrific

Before the season started everyone was told that the refs are going to crack down on bad behaviour and abusive language from players and managers. As long as the refs are consistent with it I don't mind as it's got a little out of hand over recent years.

VVD very shaky again tonight against a fairly limited Ireland front man. He really doesn't inspire confidence these days

Anyone think VVD is showing signs of how good he was prior to his injury.

He was great in the 21/22 season after his injury. The season we were very nearly all conquering. Everyone except for Ali was below par last year.

Yeah  . He's getting back to the player he once was. I think since being brutally assaulted by that kunt of a keeper Pickford and then having months out ,mentally more than physically it's taken him more time to get over his terrible injury. After his return, at times, it's looked as though he's been a bit shy of going in hard , perhaps not wanting to risk another serious injury.
He does however now seem to have put that concern behind him and as Team Captain is now vocally and physically getting better game by game

No. However I also don't think that he was so terrible last season either. Everyone was out of form including him and the team as a whole was bad. Some people went as far as saying that he needed replacing but I still thought he was among the best defenders in the league and the world, but simply in a bad form, along with the whole team. 

Pre-injury Virgil however, was out of this world. Not just the best defender but probably the best player on the planet, even with Messi still going strong. He should have won the balon d'or that year, he was that good and for me the best modern day defender. Sadly it didn't last too long, but he's still a phenomenal player no doubt.

Having a great season, probably his best since his injury by that tw@t at Everton.

Apparently we've made an official offer to Virgil for a new contract. Reports saying that he's not happy with it though. Sadly no details of what exactly he's been offered.

Salah and Trent are also expected to recieve offers. At least they won't be able to hide behind the "I've not recieved any offers" talk anymore.

I'm sure VVVD's offer is substantial but his agent is a tw@t.
I heard a whisper yesterday that the club only want to offer Mo a 12 month extension whereas he wants 2 years - no idea if it's true.
TAA, the sooner he signs the better, then we can sell him to Madrid.

I think 2 years +1 club option on the same pay or a slight increase would be a fair deal for all, both Virgil and Salah and the club.

Deserve another EPL title, best CB in league by far. I don't know where we would be without him.
