Great win and we looked really good all over the pitch. Totally over ran them and gave them very little.

Absolutely delighted with the win and to be heading into the 1st break unbeaten is such a bonus. 3 wins and a draw is a great return and as good as we could have hoped for.

At times it looked like a pre season warm up. it was that easy.

Loving Szob's continued contribution.

Sadly questions about Nunez finishing have returned, let's face it the fella should have had a hat trick .

No need to worry in a game as easy as this, just hope he's switched on again in the tougher challengers to come.

Excellent result. And a great start to the season.

It's starting to feel like Klopp is rebuilding his squad and things are clicking in midfield and upfront.

Hopefully we can keep hold of Mo and build on this with our new signings and players returning from injury and suspension.

Nunez caused havoc as usual but yeah should've bagged a brace at least. Still love the fella, is a nuisance and will bag many goals.

Even for "that" goal, he should have buried it but he got the post instead...so yeah he should have got a couple added to his name

Only listened to it on the radio but going from what the 2 presenters said and the posts in this thread sounds like it was a solid performance.
Shame about the international break we were building a fair bit of momentum.

Unbeaten in 15. 10 wins and 5 draws.

That was a good all round performance and everyone was on it. Thought Trent, Gomez, and Szob were the standouts. Also good to see young Quansah get some more minutes. Hopefully he gets a few starts in the EL and domestic cups.

10 points from 12 after facing Newcastle and Chelsea away is a very good start.

I know it might take a fair bit of tinkering to make it work but i honestly think if we are to challenge for the biggest prizes in the sport again then we need to stick with the front 3 who started todays game. Diaz, Nunez & Salah have the pace, power, athleticism and talent to trouble any defence. They just need to moulded into a unit.
That doesn’t mean the likes of Jota, Gakpo, Elliott, Doak won’t have big roles to play, it’s just that the other 3 have the weapons in their games to be something a bit special.

Not convinced with Gomez, always feel there is a mistake coming and he made a big one yesterday that could have cost us.

Excellent performance and great to see how quickly the new lads are gelling with the rest of the squad. Three wins and a draw from the first 4 games of the season is a dream start so congratulations to all.

I hear from an insider that Mo will stay and go to Saudi at the end of the season. Good compromise for all but I wish we had the money to spend, including refurbishing the Kemlin Road stand. The Annie Rd was gained 9,000 seats so if we did the Kemlin, we'd be up at 70 thou. The Mo money is very tempting....

Whilst the sideways passing across the back throughout the game was frustrating I guess we should look at the bigger picture and say the lads are still finding their feet so no problem.

Onwards and upwards.  :buttrock

If true, the club should be working hard on finding his replacement now.

Find a world class player to replace Mo and get it signed and sealed for next summer. That way we won't get our pants pulled down on the price.

Tremendous performance which basically nullified Villa for the majority of the match. Captain Trent really put in a captain’s performance. Another excellent performance with a fantastic goal from Dominik Szoboszlai who is looking more and more like a very impressive buy. Mac Allister looks like a very serious addition to the midfield. Nunez is gaining confidence and understanding which can only be a good thing for the new Liverpool. Klopp has done a remarkable job getting 10 points from 12 including a draw away to Chelsea and a win away to Newcastle when you consider he is basically creating a new team. The performances so far have eased the pain of losing Fabinho and Henderson together with Thiago missing due to injury. Salah once again proved why Liverpool are prepared to pay him a huge wage. Great result. Well done lads !!
