Everton v LIVERPOOL 7.00 pm KO Sun 21st Jun

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby ycsatbjywtbiastkamb » Sat Jun 20, 2020 10:27 am

Given neither side has played a competitive game in over 100 days, no fans will be there, people on the sidelines will be wearing face masks etc i expect it will all seem a bit surreal to the players, it’s going to have the vibe of a pre season kick about except it’s going to have a hell of a lot riding on it. The fact no fans are going to be there should help us though so I strongly fancy us to win this (which is an unusual feeling for me when it comes to derby games).

I watched some of the earlier games and was impressed at the setup considering no fans present. The fifa crowd makes up for it on tv and the players looked right up for it. You wouldn't know the difference until the camera pans to the seats.

They are going to be well up for this so I don't think it will be a walk in the park by any stretch.

I think it will be a narrow win for us but could very well end up in a draw either.

Can't wait for it :buttrock

Glad footy is back on, I really didn't want to be awarded the title on void. Let's get the two wins and wrap up the title. This will be a tough one as usual however, I think we will snap 3 points and seal the title on Wednesday.

Yeah that’s a good point actually, in terms of the history books it’s far, far better for us to win the thing out on the pitch than to have someone hand it to us.
If we can we need to try and wrap this thing up as soon as possible (preferably tonight and Wednesday) just in case there’s a second coronavirus spike and they cancel it again.

Watching on bein sports and got the crowd noise but it's really weird all the noise and empty stands. They will have CGI crowd next.
