LIVERPOOL v Watford Sat Dec 14th 12.30pm KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Scrapy game but got the result which is the only thing that matters.

However, awful timing for Wijnaldum to get injured. We already have one key midfielder out in Fabinho and we're in the busiest period of the season. I hope it's not too bad fot Gini, but with a hamstring I think he'll be out for at least a month :(

We still have the likes of Henderson, Keita, Milner, AOC etc who can play there but as you say mate the injuries are starting to rack up on the sly. There seems to be a perception in footy that we've been lucky with injuries but we have lost the likes of Alisson, Fabinho, Matip, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Keita, Shaquiri and many others already this season and we haven't even got to Christmas yet.

Whew ! Hats off to Watford, they tested us today, deffo didn't look like a team destined for relegation.

Until our second goal went in I was fretting that we could drop some points here.

Salah outstanding, we march on  :buttrock

Its a good job they can't score, had some really good chances but poor finishing and Allison making good saves they could have put us under more pressure.

1-1 now with about 15 minutes to go. No doubt Leicester will probably score but if Norwich can hang on we'll have a 10 point lead.

Great stuff! Let's hope Arsenal can do us a similar favour tomorrow.

Apart from Gini's injury (which might prove costly), it looks like a great weekend for us. All we need now is Arsenal to thrash City tomorrow and we're good :D .

I hope so but I'm not counting on it, Arsenal are a shambles at the back.

Nervous game and there will be more but again we dug in and still created a load of chances just couldn't finish. Fair play to Watford who gave it a right go, know Sarr miss kicked in front of goal but the Senegalese looks a promising player. Edging closer but no complacency.

Another grounded out result. But it's progress and 3 points. On to the world club championship
