If we can't beat the likes of Norwich at home without Mane then we may forget about being Champions. I'd leave him out if it were up to me as he needs the rest but Klopp might be thinking about him getting a few minutes before Chelsea.
The above team looks fine to me and should be more than enough to win even if they have to navigate through a few busses to do it.
Can't wait for it to get under way
On a side note anyone see R.B.G on the boards lately ?. Haven't seen him on the register for a while now.
I think RBG got fed up with all the depressing ***** !!
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 20/21 to 24/25 (10 years are in brackets 15/16 to 24/25 ) LFC €300m (€420m) Everton +€33m (€211m) Arsenal €557m (€853m) Spurs €571m (€684m) Chelsea €945m (€1051m) Man City €370m (€1038m) Man United €687m (€1240m)
Depressing ? Surely not - how can people be depressing when we won the CL for the 6th time , for our record points total in the league and go into the season with all our world class players ready to go
The reaction to the transfer window from the likes of Yakkawhateverhisnameis has been embarrassing- but then expected when he spent the whole of last season being critical

Thankfully the summer nonsense is over and we can get on with the football! Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season. At home on a Friday night against one of the promoted sides. Anfield will be buzzing as we begin the season as CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE! Squad is looking pretty strong and the likes of Lovren, Lallana, and Brewster probably won’t even make the bench. I’d play the team below but I think Klopp will go with Wijnaldum in midfield and possibly Gomez instead of Matip.
Alisson
Trent Matip van Dijk Robbo
Fabinho Henderson Keita
Salah Origi Firmino
Subs: Mane, Shaqiri, Ox, Wijnaldum, Milner, Gomez, Adrian
