Messi’s still traumatised after the Liverpool game!

He's got the mental strength of a wet paper bag.

In the first leg he was giving Milner a load of abuse in Spanish (calling him a donkey in the tunnel because of a tackle. Sadly for him, Milner speaks fluent Spanish and singled him out for some special treatment at Anfield

Just watched the game again....I think Alison's performance was really understated in the aftermath. MOTM for me. Just shows how vital a WC keeper is, which is why United are even more up Sh*t creek if De Gea jumps ship

The moment Messi bottled it  and Liverpool won the game. Look into his eyes... there's nothing.

+++ I wonder in fact if that slap was reverse psychology from the Ramos/Salah event in Kiev. LFC saw Mo taken out physically and mentally and laned from it and turned it on Messi. I'd like to think we did learn from it. Go smack their key player. Doesn't look good for 'arry Kane does it?

Barca were recording a documentary during the season. Episode 7 shows the team in the dressing room after their 4-0 drubbing at Anfield  https://rakuten.tv/uk/gardens/avod

Look at their faces at half time - they were already beaten.

I suppose though that if you're going home to shakira this loss would pale into insignificance
