Who's going to Madrid?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

EasyJet charging £1000 for flights to Madrid from Liverpool around the 1st of June, that normally cost £250, price increase due to the   "surge in demand" apparently. :D

Nothing like ripping the good old fans off, eh easy jet!

5 season ticket holders facing investigation and possible lifetime ban for selling their tickets through stub hub is all well and good; but I would prefer Liverpool , Tottenham , the English FA and any other parties, with a vested interest in bringing the game back to the fans, to put resources into procuring tickets from stub hub that were allocated to UEFA and its "family and friends"....just buy the tickets from the pitch side sections and then get some investigative journalists to do their job. A few supporters being banned won't stop this ticket debacle....investigating the corrupt UEFA family might just help....

I don't understand why a fan who gets a ticket for a game can't resell it? It's his, he's paid for it so its no different to grain trading.

SS you're right, hang the UEFA ***** out to dry, thats where 90% of the resold tickets will come from - even players families as we all know.....

The tickets should go back to the club, refunded, and reallocated to those who entered the ballot.

It’s called business but then again........... And that is why the face value of some tickets are £308 and that is not corporate. Average price is £154 !!

What are you suggesting? It's OK for fans to get one or more of a limited number of tickets given to the club just so they can profit from them? If you're wealthy enough you can get one of the tickets resold by the fans for crazy prices and if not you're *****?

And what's the prawn sandwich brigade have to do with the club? This is a UEFA competition and the club don't have control over the number of tickets allocated to it.

There's a few sports bars dotted around the City mate, and all will be packed to the Brim as it's a Saturday night in Liverpool also.

Take yer pick. Just google it. :buttrock

Not had any luck with tickets.

I live near Liverpool so might pop into town for a few bevvies at the local sports bars. Not a season ticket holder yet, so no chance of a ticket really. Even a lot of season ticket holders will miss out. 30,000 in the ballot, 16,000 allocation, less the corporates and freinds/ family allocation, so probably less than 10,000 left for the fans etc.

That's why I'm going, I've missed too many big games. After we beat Barca 4-0 I just thought "I'm going, ticket or no ticket".  I got my ticket purely by chance.
