Fulham v LIVERPOOL Sun 17th March 2.15pm ko

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby ycsatbjywtbiastkamb » Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:03 pm

Another early-ish kick off and another must win game, we can't afford to be dropping points at this stage of the season, certainly to a team in the relegation zone.
Craven Cottage is a tight ground though, the players still need to be up for this.

Can't wait to see Ryan Babel and his red hair in action :D

Seriously, city have a superior goal difference and it could be crucial come May, so we need to bang a few in here, like a 5-0 win would do nicely.

If we can spank Bayern in midweek, we can spank this lot, regardless if they are fighting for survival or not, we should have too much quality.

I'm going for a 0-4 to us.

Hopefully a midfield of Fabinho, Gini and Lallana with the rest of the team the same.

Mane was pointing to his foot/ankle when speaking to the doctor at the end of the Bayern game and wasn't in any of the training videos and pictures but hopefully he's ok.

Fulham have lost 21 out of 30 games played. They have a goal difference of -40. Nothing other than a damn good 10-0 thrashing is acceptable !!

Its a 2.15 K.O Yakka.

Just play Fabinho, Gini and Lallana in Midfield and get our full backs Robbo and TAA bombing down the wing and hurling them crosses in and that really ought to get us over the line in this match.

Fulham play City next so a huge win today might just mean they play a little harder against City as a reaction to being beaten badly. I cannot see them playing open football though so we will have to earn it despite a potential CL hangover and Babbel’s red hair. I hope Mo can have a good game to help him kick on, the Golden boot is there for him but he’s losing ground. They are scrapping for survival, they have a new manager and probably a striker that wishes to show us that we misjudged him, still, they are there for us to beat easily.

Lallana and Fabinho back in for Henderson and Milner.

Alisson, Trent, VVD, Matip, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Firmino, Mo.

Probably the best team we can field atm.

These are the banana skin games that catch the lesser teams out. Hopefully the lads are up for this and lay down a marker with a 4-0 drubbing
