You can add Carra / Sammy and Reina and Xabi to that list!

And Rob Jones! Though I won't blame BR for that one.

Anyhow like many said its gone wrong in many angles and their is not 1 man to blame.
A main criterion would be FSG inability to understand how soccer, i mean football works here.

There have been a few pivotal moments over the last 25 years and that was definately one of them.
Benitez had built a great side and for the want of £20m-£30m the future could have been a lot different, before he went to Barca Sevilla agreed to sell Dani Alves to us but we couldn't afford the £8m asking price and it was a similar story with David Silva, Rafa's chief scout Eduardo Macia was close to Silva (having taken him to Valencia) and a deal looked certain to happen but we couldn't afford their £20m asking price. That was 2 years before he joined City, imagine a team containing the likes of Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Silva, Alves, Carragher, Hyypia, Arbeloa, Agger etc etc?
The deals were almost done, Rafa just needed a little bit of backing.

I recall when we were after Silva. He would have added a super attacking dimension. Had we snapped him i think we could have won the league.

Come on Reg Torres was as a shadow of his former self when he left and has never got his pre injury form back.  Selling him for £50m was one of the better things that we have done and Suarez whilst not an intentional replacement worked out quite well

As for everything else you are unfortunately right on the money !! Sad days !!

Not sure what you mean here Reg.

The owners, Ayre, our coaches and scouts are all just as responsible as Rodgers for not delivering us quality to replace Torres, Suarez and Gerrard.

Rodgers is just the tip of the iceberg as our club is rotting from the inside out.

And it all starts with our owners and their delusions of winning trophies with kids and a profit first approach.

Frankly I won't be surprised if we don't get someone like a Klopp or Ancelotti, and go for another mediocre replacement.

I just hope it galvanises the our global fanbase into action, and asking the yanks to sell up.

Because of the baseball connection, obviously FSG think they have some knowledge of "Sports". What they hadnt realised is that "soccer", especially in england is entirely another matter, and "Sports" has very little, or anything to do with what goes on here.
They are far from stupid, but we have seen them put their trust in people who have, shall we say "their own agenda" and have had their fingers burnt a few times in their short reign. Are they any wiser? Im not sure, but for the sake of the club they need a rethink about how to get things done, and more importantly, who they pick to do it.
There needs to be a proper process where everything is analysed honestly and brutally to get rid of any bullsh'it within the club. This has to include the academy and any other part of the set up. The fans, whether it be SOS or someone else, should have a bigger say and there should be regular consultation to find out what WE think, because we are at a crossroads, not just regarding the manager, but for the very future of LFC in world football.
I really believe its that serious...

Its not only game to game, but Rodgers is being scrutinised from minute to minute. I honestly cant see him being here after christmas, and depending on the next 5 or so games, he could be gone before that...
