I see that sometimes it's a no win situation dealing with us fans...

If we're linked with a player for about 10-15 million pounds, we would say "Why the feck are we buying 10 million pound players? we should be looking at 20-30 million pound players to improve the first team!"
If we're linked with a player for about 20-30 million pounds, we would say "Why the feck are we paying that much for this player? Fabregas only cost 30 million pounds!"

And there are those who think they can be LFC manager and there are those who think they can play better than some of the first team players

thats football for you mate, its all based on opinions.
the big one that most seem to get is, it isnt about the price but more the quality we are getting for whatever amount we are spending. you can get a diamond from a piece of coal but unfortunately you have to shift serious tonnage to find one. we did well with coutinho but thats it.
personally i dont find the prices the problem in most cases, its the players we are targeting that i have the issue with. we sign lower teams better players, players from second division leagues and others that cannot break into their teams. we havent landed one top target since suarez, we face no competition for the majority of our signings and when we do we usually lose out.
anyway what i wanted to say is where is the fun in watching football and thinking that they are all better than you ! :laugh:

When we get the Suarez money I just hope Brendan invests it in the starting XI, I don't care if he blows the lot on a keeper and 2 fullbacks just as long as we see that money running around on the pitch and not sitting on the bench.

Listen to ya! Your like sulking kids! It's still July you tools, we still have Suarez you tools, we still have lots of options you tools. The way you lot harp on with your demands is stinking the place out. Have some patience and man the fek up!

It may only be July, but Rodgers has admitted and shown in the past he likes business done early. We wont be signing players up until September 1st. Lack of names, over spending on average / unproven players / not strengthening in areas that have needed doing in the past 2 windows gone by seems to be a theme here.

For the love of god I hope im wrong and they are all world beaters.

Out of the German team, realistic targets would be Kroos or Khedira. Kroos, although a good player, I've never been convinced by him. Would definitely have Khedira though. But the one that we could use the most out of that bunch would be Hummels. Top CB that would solve a lot of problems.

I'm not convinced German players are that great as individuals, I just think that when they are surrounded by other german players they become something much, much greater than the sum of their individual parts.
