Suarez should stick this up on the club room wall before the game against them in April.

When he scores and we beat those c**ts the whole team should do the Suarez dive celebration in front of him, to RAM HIS PATHETIC MIND TRICKS UP HIS A**E.   :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock

TBH he doesn't mention Suarez the media pushed his name into it. he was responding to Eto's penalty against Spurs and claims he went down too easy.

He has already come out attacking Suarez earlier this season for the same thing he so doesn't need to mention it again.

It is a blatant attempt at a pathetic mind trick to coerce refs not giving anything against Suarez as he knows we are right on their fu.c.king tails.

You just watch the Suarez hysteria rise as he plays the media like a fiddle leading up to a showdown with them next month.  :no

He is a Cnut but he can do what he wants, the more he spouts out the less people listen, I don't see us rising to the bait

WTF kind of journalism is that?  He didn't mention Suarez at all.  The Journo did a nice hatchet job though.  Congrats to him from making a nothing interview or quotes from it into something.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

your not just wrong ... your stupid.

This club will become successful again but we need players just like Suarez on board. In fact we need Suarez, all this 'sell him and buy some new quality' is a load of tosh. Why should they? you'd only fuking moan anyway at whoever they bought!

give us a break lad

Sorry red, didn't mean to include you in that, but nice response. Just goes to show, one of the most talented players we've had in generation ( possibly ever ) and how easily some of us would have let him go. Kudos to BR and FSG for doing everything to keep him. He has instilled belief, and the rest are now running with it.

I remember having numerous arguments with BTN about the idiotic notion of selling Luis and rebuilding the team with the proceeds. I also suggested at the time before the season started that if Luis had a decent season and an impressive World Cup that his value could easily exceed £70m. BTN of course dismissed that idea as being ludicrous. Based on the season so far I think BTN was right, £70m would be ludicrous. The figure could be substantially more and would possibly top the £100m barrier !! BTN went on and on about Spurs and how well they had spent considering they didn't have CL status. I maintained that getting rid of Modric and Bale was going to be an incredibly difficult act to follow. Based on Spurs inability to score goals and their season so far I think we made the correct decision.

I hate I told you so merchants but with that clown I will make an exception to the rule

I think there could be justification for a "reminder" thread. Little reminders of bad predictions, stupid comments, etc would add a little more humour to the site

You just have to look at ANY player thread and there will be someone saying " not good enough, get rid"

Guilty, your honour. I still maintain he was bang out of order for biting, super talented or not. I did want him gone at the time but am happy he seems to have put more energy into more productive onfield antics.
I don't trust him though when he says he'll stay.

Things happen at the spur of a moment in football and at times I'm certain that most players almost instantly regret their own acts of crass stupidity. That is what Suarez's bite amounted to and he received an idiotic disproportionate 10 match ban for the offence which even Ivanovich didn't take exception to. Luis has done silly things but he has never gone out of his way to purposely cause serious injury to another player whilst he has been at Liverpool. Ramirez intentionalLY goes out of his way to course an opposing player serious injury and he will probably get away with nothing more than a 3 match ban for a straight red because the referee dealt with the incident at the time. The rules/laws are a total nonsense.

So Bunglemark what do you think should be done about George Boyd spitting in Hart's face? Should he be castigated by the fans and thrown out of the club at the earliest opportunity which is what you wanted (and you certainly weren't on your own) to happen to Luis? Should his revolting actions warrant a ban of equal or greater length than Luis's? Biting, spitting and insulting (racial or otherwise) are totally unacceptable but are they more unacceptable than trying to cause somebody a career threatening injury? Personally I do not think they are. Ask John Barnes if he would prefer his leg seriously broken or to be called a filthy ni.... and I know exactly what he would say and what he would have done! THE RULES AND LAWS NEED SERIOUSLY LOOKING AT.

The rules/laws are probably fine in the main. It's how punishment is applied that's the problem, because at the moment, there's just too much of a random nature to it.

In fairness, Suarez deserved to be punished, no matter how fantastic and crucial he's been for Liverpool this season. You just cannot have that kind of shite going on in a game, from ANY player.

But...the punishments need to be handed in an even manner, across the board.
