Apparently Arsenal have a cash flow in the club of £164mil ( more than the others combined ) - obviously doesn't include owners personal wealth. The problem appears to be the two owners that just don't talk to each other and the CEO having problems getting the sanctioning to spend the money. They had the same problem last summer then finally spend a load in the last couple of days. Expect the same again - a last minute big spend and somehow Wenger will get them sorted again.

He was in his last year of contract wasnt he ? RvP wasnt signing a new one so they would have lost him for a free. It's a lot of money to turn down for owners.

Arsenal just scraped into CL group qualifiers. If they had failed to finish fourth what they would have lost would have been far greater than what the got from United for Van Persie.

Yep - apparently now they pretty much have Bale sorted they are sorting out their strikers with Benzema leaving first

we all knew madrid would leave it till the end of the window to try and get him so this isnt any surprise at all.
we cant afford to let him leave this late in the window and john henry cant afford it either as his credibility with the fans will all but disappear.

Real is such an easy team to hate nowadays, everyone does it.
They act with outmost disrespect, always going through the agents and the press trying to turn the players head, never through the right channels like the club
who actually holds the contract of the player.
And act as arrogant as they can making bids any time they want.
Heck, even Manure and the blueshite have more dignity than that.

A post-World Cup Luis Suarez "might" worth more than today's Luis Suarez...what do you think?
