@pkelso: Suarez interview translation reads: "My reason for leaving is my family & my image, I don't feel comfortable here any more." #LFC

with 3 years on his contract, if told your feckin staying, would he generally do everything in his power to play to his full potential every week or would he sulk until we got ***** of and let him go. its a lose lose situation for the club, contracts mean nothing nowadays. id find out what madrid r willing to pay, keep suarez until we have a replacement then sell him on,,, no loyalty in him. needs agger to teach him a thing or two

Yes I'm sure that's exactly his reasons for going when he previously stated that he ignores the media and it doesn't effect him. He has helped created his own image - he is far from the innocent party.

Have some f*cking balls and admit you just want to win things

Here Benny did you know that

@OptaJoe: 7 - Without Luis Suarez's goals this season, Liverpool would still have finished seventh in the Premier League table. Depth.

Let's not sell him.

He is contracted to play for us for another 3 seasons, so tell him he ain't leaving and that's that.  :no

there`s a buy out clause in his contract though mate, if someone is prepared to meet the set fee it triggers the clause and then it`s basically out of the clubs hands, it`s up to the player then wether he wants to go to that particular club or not.
given what he has said it`s very, very unlikely that suarez will ever play for us again so the club has to move on quickly, the first step being making sure we get every single penny of that buy out clause, we dont want any madrid cast off`s in part ex.

Yes, I just recently read this reported buy-out "clause" is only a mere 40 million.

Absolutely gobsmacked that there is one in there in the first place and for such a tiny amount is truly unfathomable.

If he goes for anything less, I expect Werner and Henry's heads to be sitting on spikes outside Anfield, what a f**king shambles our club is in.

Can't even keep our best player at the club, can't even work out contracts, afford any young talent to come through and then you have monkeys professing to be Liverpool "fans" in rapture because Suarez is leaving.

These same idiots can't see that this is the beginning of the end, we are well and truly f**ked if he leaves.

You're out of your minds if you think that a player of Gonzalo Higuain's calibre will want to join us as part exchange, the way those c**ts "wheel and deal" they will smugly tell us to be happy with a pack of crisps in exchange and we will all sit here smiling like f**kwits.

Whiskey nose will be doing a little dance tonight, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

if madrid meet the buy out clause there`s ***** all we can do, tony barrett just said on the radio that suarez`s agent wanted the buy out clause included in his contract as an insurance policy incase we didnt qualify for the CL again this season.
its on sky sports news now as well, he wants out.

The Torres transfer showed we are now no longer part of footballs top table. Why are we surprised he's going? The same will happen in a couple of years when Coutinho has evolved into a first class player, get used to it!

The club WE are loyal to will still be here!

3 days in a row of absolute sh*te from this guy. I can't believe this guy doesn't even have the decency to stop mouthing off even now.

I hope we sell him, and I hope we get 40 million + for him. I'll be made up also with 25 + Higuain.

We will find out next season won't we.

Always got to trust Opto Jo

Please remind me who our back up striker was until Jan

Nice to another poster who can't converse without insults

Another one dragged up.

Without Suarez goals we would have been ten points worse off - 6 defeats more instead of draws and 2 draws instead of wins. That doesn't take into account the goals that got us through in Europa and the countless assists to help win many more games.

just shows you how lucky we have been that a player as good as gerrard committed his whole career to this club. these days the only people within the game of footy who have any loyalty is the fans.
they should take all the crosses down from the all the church steeples and replace them with dollar signs, thats the only god people worship these days.

Loyal to what?

Mediocrity.

Accept that our best players get pillaged every season and we sink into oblivion.

Do some of you honesty needed to be reminded of who the f*ck WE ARE?!?!??

LIVERPOOL FC.

The moment we accept this s**t, then we don't stand for anything.
