That's a statement in poor taste IMO. I've had enough with Suarez's histrionics and his saying that 'no one stood by him' in the interview did it for me. You can't question the loyalty of fans who've had enough with Suarez and the disrepute he's brought to the club.

Surely we could have asked for a bit more than 40mill on the buyout clause. This is just poor business on our behalf, hence why I'm so angry at this.

Currently our standing in the game is low and these players won't look at us without CL football or the ability to pay high wages or fees ! If we don't offer big fees and wages we won't replace Suarez with sufficent quality

can't fault your assessment, but you might want to sprinkle some optimism is your post's occasionally, just so the few remaining members on this forum don't slit their wrists. thanks

Why are we surprised he's going? The same will happen in a couple of years when Coutinho has evolved into a first class player, get used to it!
The club WE are loyal to will still be here!
Loyal to what?
Mediocrity.
Accept that our best players get pillaged every season and we sink into oblivion.
Do some of you honesty needed to be reminded of who the f*ck WE ARE?!?!??
LIVERPOOL FC.
The moment we accept this s**t, then we don't stand for anything.
Ok Mr. Liverpool, what should we do when a player constantly tries to sully our name, is lying out of his ***** saying he wants to leave because he feels uncomfortable because of the paparazzi in Liverpool (?! compared to Madrid??), has brought so many moments of shame and disrepute to the club?
Do you still suck up to him, increasing his wages and tolerate his antics? Or do you say you've had enough, and remain confident that no one is bigger than the club - sell him and find a good replacement. We've done it every single time with our strikers, and we'll do it again.

The top players want league titles and as a minimum CL, under we can offer than we will continue to lose big players. You should be thankful that our legacy allows us to attract and sign these types of players.
Man the f*ck up and dry your eyes.

@OptaJoe: 7 - Without Luis Suarez's goals this season, Liverpool would still have finished seventh in the Premier League table. Depth.
Have that you miserable W*nk*r
We will find out next season won't we.
Always got to trust Opto Jo
Please remind me who our back up striker was until Jan
Nice to another poster who can't converse without insults
Another one dragged up.
Without Suarez goals we would have been ten points worse off - 6 defeats more instead of draws and 2 draws instead of wins. That doesn't take into account the goals that got us through in Europa and the countless assists to help win many more games.

Umm - we have bought a 25 year old unknown from
Spain ?
We still have Coutinho ?
It's quite hard to find something to be optimistic currently
