bugger it, I love the little guy. awesome to watch, still hope he doesn't leave us, but I wish him well if he does mainly since its not the same league.

the ball is in LFC's hands now, lets get the best deal possible.

Let's not sell him.

He is contracted to play for us for another 3 seasons, so tell him he ain't leaving and that's that.  :no

there`s a buy out clause in his contract though mate, if someone is prepared to meet the set fee it triggers the clause and then it`s basically out of the clubs hands, it`s up to the player then wether he wants to go to that particular club or not.
given what he has said it`s very, very unlikely that suarez will ever play for us again so the club has to move on quickly, the first step being making sure we get every single penny of that buy out clause, we dont want any madrid cast off`s in part ex.

Yes, I just recently read this reported buy-out "clause" is only a mere 40 million.

Absolutely gobsmacked that there is one in there in the first place and for such a tiny amount is truly unfathomable.

If he goes for anything less, I expect Werner and Henry's heads to be sitting on spikes outside Anfield, what a f**king shambles our club is in.

Can't even keep our best player at the club, can't even work out contracts, afford any young talent to come through and then you have monkeys professing to be Liverpool "fans" in rapture because Suarez is leaving.

These same idiots can't see that this is the beginning of the end, we are well and truly f**ked if he leaves.

You're out of your minds if you think that a player of Gonzalo Higuain's calibre will want to join us as part exchange, the way those c**ts "wheel and deal" they will smugly tell us to be happy with a pack of crisps in exchange and we will all sit here smiling like f**kwits.

Whiskey nose will be doing a little dance tonight, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

:no

Don't be ridiculous, no one player is bigger than the club, we move on...

Get the f**k out of here, loyal to what?

Mediocrity.

Accept that our best players get pillaged every season and we sink into oblivion.

Do some of you honesty needed to be reminded of who the f*ck WE ARE?!?!??

LIVERPOOL FC.

The moment we accept this s**t, then we don't stand for anything.

with that buy out clause there`s ***** all the club can do mate. luis wouldnt have signed that contract extension without it either.
i`m sure the club would like to take a tough stance and play the same type of hardball that spurs played with modric but this looks like luis and his agent were planning an exit strategy a year ago.

@TonyBarretTimes: That paparazzi claim by Suarez is complete & utter garbage. He was hardly bothered. Does he think there are no photographers in Madrid?

Is correct

He wants to go to win things - just like Torres did.

Ok Mr. Liverpool, what should we do when a player constantly tries to sully our name, is lying out of his ***** saying he wants to leave because he feels uncomfortable because of the paparazzi in Liverpool (?! compared to Madrid??), has brought so many moments of shame and disrepute to the club?

Do you still suck up to him, increasing his wages and tolerate his antics? Or do you say you've had enough, and remain confident that no one is bigger than the club - sell him and find a good replacement. We've done it every single time with our strikers, and we'll do it again.

Suarez is will offer value to any team in the world, for many years to come imo. Anyone who thinks otherwise is falling for the media circus surrounding him.

we would be better looking closer to home for one season wonders. to many to count with the current crop of british players.

suarez is a gem, and I stick my middle finger up to everyone that contributed to driving him out (yes I realize maybe we wants to go regardless, but I don't care).

Eds you're delusional. You actually think we are the same club from the Benitez era. Once H&G ruined us and we lost the squad Benitez built up, our "big club" profile went.

The top players want league titles and as a minimum CL, under we can offer than we will continue to lose big players. You should be thankful that our legacy allows us to attract and sign these types of players.

Man the f*ck up and dry your eyes.

That's a statement in poor taste IMO. I've had enough with Suarez's histrionics and his saying that 'no one stood by him' in the interview did it for me. You can't question the loyalty of fans who've had enough with Suarez and the disrepute he's brought to the club.

I have never said one player is bigger than our club, so I don't know exactly what you mean?

All I'm asking for is an improvement in the way our management handles these kinds of things.

I have a right to be angry if Real Madrid f**k us over, YET AGAIN.

Surely we could have asked for a bit more than 40mill on the buyout clause. This is just poor business on our behalf, hence why I'm so angry at this.

saying that the club haven't supported him is utter garbage. the club backed him to the hilt with the t-shirt stuff and put our entire reputation on the line. you could argue that was part of the reason that kenny lost his job.
