u r forgetting GH's laughing at lazio bid of owen, saying 25m can only buy his left leg. and a yr later he move to RM for 8m?
stevie mac? barca bid for him for 12m, but he moved to RM for free?
RM continues to exploit us. and if they want RM, then show us the money!
and how are those bast5rds be allow to talk to suarez and agreed on personal terms(if rumors are to be believed) without our permission?

We have been strongly linked to Aspas ffs, Higuain is 10 times the player Aspas is, or Borini for that matter. He's more clinical than Sturridge and imo fits our system perfectly with his excellent runs behind defenders and movement inside the box. The only somewhat realistic forward I would take ahead of Higuain to replace Suarez would be Mario Gomez (Bayern are trying to get rid of him but Dortmund seem to be reluctant to take him). A different player and one I'm not sure Rodgers would want but he'll stick it in the back of the net with better efficiency than most.

Both us and the player were guilty in both the Owen and Steve Mac cases.
We should have sold Steve Mac when we had the chance when he kept turning down a contract
And the same with Owen - we allowed that contract to run down
Neither were Madrids doing - they took advantage of situations created by poor management

Does this mean peace has broken out ?
As the song says
He can be your bodyguard and you can be his long lost pal
You can call him Betty and he can call you Al

Let's not sell him.
He is contracted to play for us for another 3 seasons, so tell him he ain't leaving and that's that.

i blame them as there is clearly a "tapping" of our players here. God knows when have they been communicating with suarez while he is still under contract with us. they win the player first before convincing the club to sell.
anything less than 40m for suarez and we are getting robbed. if suarez indicates that he wants to leave then i think selling him btw 40m-50m will be a fair deal.
holding for 50m represents our resolve in that we are not a selling club. LFC made suarez, not the other way around.

there`s a buy out clause in his contract though mate, if someone is prepared to meet the set fee it triggers the clause and then it`s basically out of the clubs hands, it`s up to the player then wether he wants to go to that particular club or not.
given what he has said it`s very, very unlikely that suarez will ever play for us again so the club has to move on quickly, the first step being making sure we get every single penny of that buy out clause, we dont want any madrid cast off`s in part ex.
