He's good in positioning himself to score the tap in. The act of tapping in was easy, the skill was knowing when to be at the right time and right place to do it, something Rushie was good at and now looks like D.S. has that ability.

If we can get Diame that would be fantastic, it will add more spice to our midfield. I remember during the W.Ham game, when he was brought off because of injury, the play went against them and we scored 2 goals and won. Had he stayed on without injury, we could have easily lost.

Hope we can get Brazilian Phillipe Coutinho, an brilliant attacking midfielder who can dribble similar to Ronaldo.

I had the same thought after his goal against Manure.  A real poacher's finish; something we've been sorely lacking.

The best thing Danny did all match was his dummy when Luis scored. It was absolutely brilliant. Really does look as if he has a really good football brain. Well played Danny and excellent positioning for your goal. KEEP SHOVING IT SO FAR UP CHELSEA AND NANDO YOU'LL HAVE THEM FARTING THROUGH THEIR TEETH !!!

Sturridge has been a revelation. It is encouraging to me that his two league goals have been simple tap-ins because it means that we are finally killing off chances the team has created rather than relying on individual talent. Looking back on earlier in the season, I think it is clear that the source of our goal-scoring difficulties were not having someone leading the line because often Luis liked to drop deep to receive the ball. Having someone competent leading the line will a). Give Suarez more freedom and thus more of the ball (imo a good thing) b). Give our opposition something to worry about other than Suarez. We just now need to figure out a way to involve our midfielders more in the attacking third and we will be golden (We did this very well against Norwich).

To be honest it was a bit of a thankless job for Danny against Arsenal. My only grumble would be that he makes absolutely no effort whatsoever to put in a tackle but given his fitness level that could have been an instruction.

Fast, quick feet, good skills and a good left foot. He has been playing his position well and linking up well with Luis. It looks to be a good addition.

he looked phenominal today, that has got to be one of the best performances of his entire career.
he generates tremendous power in his shots with practically no backlift which is a great asset to have as a striker.

Yup, he gets it off in a hurry with power. We could have used him for the past 2 years.

i was quite surprised that he can kick the ball with such force with minimal lift back of the striking foot.

Awesome clip...

Add a little more quality to the defence/Goal keeping & we will start wining these games.

Just a brilliant performance against City. Really does look tobe the real deal. Liked the way he didn't celebrate his fantastic goal.
