FABIO BORINI- Official thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby SouthCoastShankly » Thu Oct 11, 2012 8:17 pm

@TonyBarretTimes: The Italian FA has informed Liverpool that Fabio Borini has broken a bone in his foot. Their striker shortage has become a crisis.

Our average squad age is about to become younger

With Borini out, can we recall Andy Carroll from his loan to West Ham? I know clubs can do it in some cases, and wondered if it applies to Carroll's loan terms.

The bit i dont get is Carroll left virtually on the last minute surely brendan knew by then that the owners werent gona cough up and plus why didnt the owners tell him look even if you get rid of andy we wont buy a replacement Seems really weird that the owners would let carroll go at the last minute. Surely they aernt that thick to think 2 strikers would suffice for a full season.

Wrap Luis in cotton wool time. Terrible timing for Borini too, he really need a league goal or three to his name, and putting it off can't help him.

Oh well, something like this was going to happen, a chance for Gerd and Adam to step up and make a name for themselves.
