A well earned point which could easily have been three.

I have blamed no-one because no-one is to blame
I went to the game so I saw it first hand thank you very much and like all real fans I have faith that things will improve
I am not quoting you and this is probably the last time I will respond directly to you because you are a co'ck munching, pathetic, smeg addict who is not worth a reply from any decent supporter.
If you are not a manc then youre a bitter tw@t who has come on here for a wind up and to get some attention.
Either way you are boring and cringey and should be banned for wasting peoples time

Im not wasting anyones times! Im telling it like it is!

We are no where near good enough under this manager, and you simply don't want to face the truth.

I am not the only one who isn't in favour of Rodgers in charge. So stop taking your anger out on me.  :nod

You need to accept it in your own little mind, instead of arguing with me, before you get banned from this forum, for being a wind up merchant and major p*ss taker.

Thommo - How was Sahin today?
He looked a little lost, i watched the game on the telly so couldn't see his movement that well, Suso looked like he struggled a bit as well.
Do you think they where a little static??

I sometimes wonder if it's worth putting Borini up top and Suarez and sterling playing either side, i like his movement and wonder if these cute passing moves may benefit his game more than Suarez's!

Fits and starts mate. Stoke are one of the most physical teams in the league and they were constantly leaving their foot in, which unsettled some of our players. The ref didnt help by not sorting it sooner than he did.
I was disappointed that the chances we had, especially from Sahin and Sterling, werent hit with more conviction. I expect Suarez to miss a shed load every game now, but others have to be more clinical if were going to be effective

You think it's worth moving Suarez away from that lead role and putting in Borini?

It always seems to me that we are missing a player in the box or on the shoulder, it's not Suarez game and i think it leaves us short up top!

Something is definately missing from the team when we play. I think Suarez needs more support up top. Against stoke he was trying to carve out chances all by himself, I'm not sure if the inexperienced Suso and Sterling is the answer.

The problem for me is not talent but mentality. We're mentally fragile and that goes for the senior players aswell. If our experienced players are not performing they get desperate and try to force the issue. If we don't score in the first 45 minutes, doubts starting creeping into their minds about the previous games where we were held to a draw and it's as if we just don't know what to do in this scenario.

The problem for me is how Suarez is playing or how he's been instructed to play. If Suarez is our main striker, he shouldn't be playing so deep, expect to dribble pass 3-4 defenders and then score. Sahin, sterling and suso needs to bring the ball further up the field and support him more. At the same time, Suarez needs to bring them into play more and not think about nutmegging the defender first. If Suarez is expected to create, then we need an out and out striker to play further up. Now Suarez is playing video game football...

It's typical of today's society to want instant success but find someone to blame if it doesn't happen, we're all dissappointed that we're not more competetive but it's early days and we need to get behind the club instead of criticising players, manager, owner, anybody we can thing of.

Look at the clubs that are doing well, most of them either throw bucket loads of money at the team (Chelsea, City) or have long term managers and perhaps owners (Utd, Arsenal, Everton). There are exceptions of course and there's not much difference in the performance in most of the other teams in the premier league, there's a fine line between success and failure.

We've had so much change of personnel and policy over the last few years and that's the reason we're down in 14th place or wherever we are now. Stability and consistancy is what we need now and the backing of our supporters.

It starts at the top and the owners have been here two years, hopefully they now realise how big the task is and what they need to do to get this club back to the top. They've appointed Brendan who has a clear vision of how he wants the team to play but he needs time to build a competitive squad. We needed to improve the balance sheet so we got rid of a load of high earners but we lost a lot of experience and that will take time to replace.

You can't completely overhaul the squad in one transfer window, we made a good start to the process but a few mistakes were made which left us a bit short in certain areas. We've had to use a lot more younger players than we probably planned but they've come in and done quite well.

I think most of our performances this season have been encouraging but there is definitely something missing. If we can add a couple of quality players in January and further improve the squad next summer I believe we will see a massive improvement next season.
